Just woke up to the news breaking that the EPL are so confident in City's guilt, they've decided to bring the hearing into their clear financial doping forward to NEXT MONTH! Prior to this decision in the last 24 hours, apparently City's bigwigs were convinced nothing would happen until at least next year (in terms of the case starting) but now it seems full steam ahead:

Huge huge play from the Premier League this and I fully applaud them. Bringing it forward so quickly will no doubt rattle and scare City, as it's basically the EPL telling them 'we have the evidence, we know you're guilty and we're now ready to prove it, so now more delays: lets go'.
We will now no doubt see City playing the 'we aren't ready, this isn't fair' card, but if you recall from day 1 all of their fans/directors/management have stated they want the case to start ASAP to prove their innocence. Therefore if they do try to delay it, it tells you everything doesn it?
Possible outcome in January and reports are if they're guilty then they'll potentially be relegated in the new year! Other sources claiming they may not even finish the season. Delightful way to start the day and as for City, the net is closing in and soon you'll rightfully be in 'cuffs.
City's judgement day is just around the corner

I'm sure they are guilty of something financial, but don't know what, or care about.

That's a huge spectrum of emotions to have in one sentence. You must be exhausted.

We need to be careful for what we wish for here. If City are stripped of titles going back over a decade then that Gerrard slip won't be as funny.

City are pathetic. They truly, truly are.
The club with nothing to hide want to move the goalposts again:

Regarding Pep and the team, they have my admiration, plenty have tried to buy success, eg PSG.
It's not easy, but they've done it.

The entire world know they’re guilty

Would the Football League accept them?
Plenty of teams competed against them in the PL and ended up getting relegated, not to mention getting knocked out of the domestic cups by City. If it was relegation for City, why should the Football League readily accept them?

‘We want it heard as soon as possible so we can prove our innocence transparently’
Why keep it hush hush for months?? Clearly because you’ll try to make pay offs and appeal.

Did you even read the article? You’re conflating the PL investigation with the arbitration itself. It literally says in the article this -
“Schedules, however, could slip as it is a legal process, independent of influence by the Premier League or by City.”
There’s no goalposts either side can move themselves once it gets to arbitration.
