Manuel Ugarte, OUT of PSG squad for their opening Ligue1 game.
He wants to join Manchester United, deal never been off. Absolutely on. But it will depend on conditions wanted by PSG.
Ugarte has been clear: he wants #MUFC as soon as possible.

I can see this one dragging all the way to deadline day, but hopefully it gets wrapped up sooner rather than later. Weโre in for another long season if the midfield isnโt strengthened.
Manuel Ugarte

I think quite a few on us on here would like to see Mainoo develop his overall game and not start every single one either.
I know it may be harsh to criticise him but he does often end up playing in teams that get overrun in midfield. I think he's a fine talent though and perhaps we won't see his absolute best until maybe we move to an actual proper midfield three.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s not harsh to acknowledge that. He’s part of the reason we do get overrun.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You're a hard taskmaster, Dazza!
If we did sign Ugarte though I'd quite like to see a Ugarte, Casemiro, Bruno midfield as well as a Ugarte, Casemiro, Mainoo midfield too.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe, but I just don’t like how young players get a free pass for the failings of a team when they’re contributing to those failings.
I suspect we’ll see those combinations if we get Ugarte and Casemiro does stay. A midfield of Bruno, Casemiro and Ugarte will be difficult to just walk through if the rest of the team can stay compact.
Also worth considering that Casemiro has come up with some big goals for us, so having more licence to get forward could make the difference to a result in different games across a season.

Yeah just the Portuguese and French leagues for the best teams, a real barometer of quality.

Can’t wait to see that midfield with a defence of Lindelof, Slabhead, Evans and a first-game-back Shaw by the time the Liverpool game comes around…
