Decision time approaches

So Cotterill (According to some favourite for the Forrest job?) and Zola (not being considered or not applied) James (not applied) are now apparently out of the picture so that still leaves seven or possably eight from the list I added before, 5 have currently have been interviewed and one or two more may be interviewed.
Now it becomes squeaky bum time for the fans who will it be?
Will it be someone who will bring the fans together ( I really hope so) or someone who will be the cause of more splits in the ranks?
It's true they have to be careful this time we don't need another Coppell situation although that is hard to avoid if the person you appoint decides that afterall he isn't up for the job I suppose the sooner he leaves the better.
Or the situation we found ourselves in with KM who seemed to find a team and formula that worked last season and ditched it for some unexplainable reason this season.

We won't know until he is appointed and with the lack of solid information to work with ie exactly who is being considered, just who are the 5 already interviewed and who are the 1-2 who might be interviewed?
OK if they are contracted to other clubs that might cause their fans some annoyance which is why they couldn't be mentioned but most of those mentioned are currently not attached to clubs so why no information?
People keep saying that fans need to be more engaged with their clubs but the fans are usually the ones most in the dark about what for many is one of the most important things about the club at any one time who is going to manage it. I fully realise we can't change the system as it stands but a little light shed on the matter would surely help keep the fans more informed and hopefully more engaged with their club.
Or at least thats my opinion.

Like you say though Hawky,
If the people concerned are signed to other clubs...
I'm sure one or two in our list possibly are.
Also it gives the applicants time and spaceto make their decision without pressure from the fans, so that hopefully they will make the right decision and not throw in the towel after two games

Taking this long City must be considering someone in a job right now. Could it be Darren Ferguson? (hope so) strong character and certainly well connected.

Please not Darren Ferguson, he is having a good season so far granted but his last two spells in this league ended in relegation. I, personally, dont want this club to be a nursery for Man Utd and have a puppet as a manager. McInnes is the one for me, lets create our own legacy not jump on board someone elses!

If the press is to be believed it is Steve Cotterill who the club want but he wants to wait and see if he gets the Forest job sorry if that is his priority we should forget him at once we do not want to be second choice for any other clubs failed applicants.
I expect all others fans would feel the same way if their manager only joined them because he wasn't thought good enough for another club and he told their club to wait til he found out if he got the other job first.
If Forest is his preference then we SHOULD be looking elsewhere.
