Not sure that would work. Madrid make their money by selling their own rights to show games. PL clubs are sold as a package and get the same income. I believe despite making nearly a billion by selling these rights, they are still hundreds of millions in debt.

Well that's what I read a couple of years ago. Not sure that has changed much considering the big outlays they have had in transfers and wages the past couple of years.

They run an operating profit most years

They obviously, like all big organisations run an operating debt if that's what you mean?
But their operating profit is greater.
Plus all revenue generated gets put straight back into the club...no shareholders to pay out or enormous Exec salaries

Perhaps but if it's not competitive at the top then it's a bit pointless in that respect. The title race is the cream.

I disagree. The strength of the league isn't pointless due to there being quality from top to bottom.

City have won 4 in a row.

I think we are fine, we have money for two TOP TOP quality players.

We are in great shape
