Spurs... you have broken me

I support a club I can no longer afford to see play, and if I could afford it then it's unlikely I'd actually be able to get a ticket. I don't live anywhere near London so that means either petrol or train fares plus a hotel for the night.

I support a club whose last trophy was a league cup and happened 16 years ago.

Last trophy before that was 1999 when I was still a kid.

When we first started qualifying for the Champions League it was so exciting because I'd dreamed of qualifying for European football for so many years. That excitement has long since faded.

In the 80s and 90s, pre Enic we were very badly run but we signed star players and picked up a few trophies. Yes we never reached the top but we did more than 'compete'

In recent years we have stagnated, ironically since the new stadium which was supposed to be a platform for success was built.

I honestly don't give a toss about finishing 4th anymore. What kind of a boast is fourth place anyway?! It just makes Enic and Levy richer.

What kind of a club brings in win now manager Mourinho and then doesn't back him in the transfer market? And when that manager gets to a final, sacks him a few days before the final and puts Ryan Mason in charge?

I would love to win any trophy and I would swap years of CL qualifications for one FA Cup win. I was very young in 1991 so I don't remember it.

This is not me being ungrateful for what is still a very successful period in the clubs history, albeit not a period where we have won trophies.

Levy is a genius in running the business side of the club and if we finally win something we will have done it the right way. But realistically, is that likely to actually happen any time soon?

So inclusion I'm not angry, I'm very disappointed. In fact I'm past disappointed and just feel total apathy towards my club.

I'll probably still moan on JA606 and admittedly if we start winning game after game I'm sure my enthusiasm will increase.

But I'm past caring to be honest. The manager we have in charge and the players we have, no matter how brilliant, never seems to make any difference when it comes to getting over the line.

Spurs, you have broken me.

Just had a look around. Chelsea pricing is pretty much identical. Arsenal slightly cheaper, though their kids kit only goes up to age 5-6. United about the same. Liverpool looks more expensive. Chit ain't cheap

It’s a general point - not exclusive to Spurs.
Same with tickets - although Spurs are notoriously expensive.

£120 for a kids kid is a rip even if other clubs do the same. The FA had the cheek to complain about counterfeit shirts when they were also ripping fans off with cheaply made but extortionate shirts and kits.

I get all my kids kits from China. £15-20 including delivery. Don’t lose a minute’s sleep about it.
They make you do it.
Same with Firesticks

The prices are ridiculous

Haven’t had a shirt since Son first joined and someone bought me that on a bet

Couldn’t get to a game last season cause of the prices and availability but before that was going 5-10 or so a season since moved out of whl

Yeah I've bought a few knockoffs. They're usually pretty decent quality tbf

It`s Levy`s wet dream, force the real fans away from the club and replace them with a stadium full of affluent happy clappers and tourists.

Levy out.

Been feeling this way for years.

Enic simply do not care about winning.

They want to maximise profit. That is it. Spend enough to finish fourth and qualify for champions league. Raise prices. Rinse and repeat. There is so many examples of this.

I’m zen with it now. I’ve been through the fury, now I just laugh and pity those that support levy.

Once you accept that spurs will never win anything under Enic, it gets easier.

I go to my local league one team for my live football fix

My kids are Brighton fans because they offered a concession for ALL kids for a couple of games and their mates dad took them.

Levy is an expert in football failure. 24 years and one league cup is absolutely laughable. He’s a joke.

Big brand, small football club. Just stop giving them your hard earned mate. They’re ripping you right off.

Regardless to what some cliques in here tell you, you can support your club in anyway you choose. I choose to support the traditions that were passed down through my family. The game is about the glory. Not the profit margin.

I’ll stay away until the owners show they agree.

Pretty much where I am with it all.

I’m even more gutted because I have a pair of football mad boys who I’ve forced to support Spurs. Trying to talk them through our matches and talk about what we’re doing is so difficult because it’s so blatantly sheite.

It’s my kids that have really alerted me to the fact that we genuinely don’t have any players to get you excited. Even when we’ve been shat in the past, we’d still have players who’d get you off your seat.

I don’t have a clue who they would want on the back of their shirt this season?! One went Bergvall and one went Gray.

Tell them "Harry Kane" with caption "Good Old Days".
