Jump off a bridge if we don't beat Everton. But with a bungee cord attached.

Pretty much where I am with it all.

I’m even more gutted because I have a pair of football mad boys who I’ve forced to support Spurs. Trying to talk them through our matches and talk about what we’re doing is so difficult because it’s so blatantly sheite.

It’s my kids that have really alerted me to the fact that we genuinely don’t have any players to get you excited. Even when we’ve been shat in the past, we’d still have players who’d get you off your seat.

I don’t have a clue who they would want on the back of their shirt this season?! One went Bergvall and one went Gray.

I can’t even take mine to away matches or Cup games because you need to be a member as physical tickets don’t exist from last season.

Was able to take my two in the away end at Preston season before last in the Cup - can’t even do that now.

To take them to The Lane it would put £50 and 2 x £20 on three tickets to join as members just to get tickets for the one game we could even go to.

It’s bad really

Hoping to have kids in the next couple of years and I don't think I will even try to persuade them to support Spurs. Why condemn them to a life of misery?

They'd rather sell tickets to Chinese tourists than to genuine fans from the local area. They definitely don't care who can and come as long as the stadium keeps selling out and the money keeps rolling in.

Do you really think I've written this article because we drew a football match? If you do you're either mad or very stupid.

I support a club whose last trophy was a league cup and happened 16 years ago.

Last trophy before that was 1999 when I was still a kid.

----

The most depressing thing about this article is realising even going back 16 years in time, you'd STILL be 9 years off the end of the 90s

I think it’s that it’s very obvious we’re going nowhere as a club.

And if you’ve been here time and time again, it’s hard to get excited about another project/ rebuild/ phase etc

I can get why any Spurs fan feels like this. We've had so many false dawns in the last 15 years. Every time it looks we will build to producing some tangible success, it peters out again.

Admittedly when we've been good it's been enjoyable, most notably in the Poch era, but how many more times can we keep promising so much and delivering so little? We had the good periods under Redknapp, Poch, Mourinho briefly, Conte briefly and quite possibly now the same with Ange, again briefly, with none of it coming with any trophy.

I've given Levy a lot of blame for this over the years and rightly so, however lately at least, he has been spending money and supporting the manager. Ange has been allowed to spend just £350m in 3 windows. That's almost unheard of levels of spending for us when you think back to the season we spent nothing. Obviously the new stadium has helped which is great. That should give some optimism for the future. Sad though that this didn't come during Poch's time when surely this level of spending would have seen that period marked with some sort of silverware. Pretty Spursy timing really.

But until managers are asked to prioritise League Cup, FA Cup and Europa matches where we actually stand a chance of winning a trophy over top 4 finishes, I fear nothing will change.

Well... a series of managers being sacked for not getting top 4, Mourinho sacked the week of the cup final, Poch lasted the longest thanks to consistently high league finishes and he was all for resting players in cup matches.

This is off the top of my head but if we think some more I'm sure there's a stack of circumstantial evidence.

Obviously I'm not gonna be able to produce video or audio of Levy saying don't bother with the cups, but I believe he does place much more emphasis on league finishes than on winning trophies in the whole way the club is run, and right from the first interviews with prospective managers.

We spend a lot but buy a lot of players with it - this is my issue.

30% of me thought we would make three strategic, quality signings this summer but I knew when we bought Werner that wouldn’t happen.

It does doesn’t it.
But look again and you will see it only goes up to age 7/8.

Then it’s £65 for the shirt, £33 shorts and £18 socks.
