Quality signing in my opinion, there is a reason why Mikel was so desperate for Mikel. It's also great to see players are actually wanting to join us. We all saw that recently with Calafiori.
I know it's a stretch but we must sign a striker or wide player who can play on right. Havertz has improved but cannot rely on his to score 25 odd goals tbh.
City must be looking for striker as well, if they sign and we don't then it puts us in a situation where we cannot match their squad depth and could struggle.
Overall it's looking very positive tho !

Merino is the best press midfielder in Liga. (Highest duel stats in the final third). He also has terrific creative/attack stats from the box position. So I expect Rice to go back to no.6 when Merino is fully up to Premier League pace. Partey hasn't been offered an extension, so we expect him to leave this summer or in Jan.

Firstly Partey .... Yes I think he is better than him.
Secondly you will play over 50 games this season , you need a minimum of 5 CMs if you play with a 3 for the season.

With Fabio leaving on loan and the amount of games we are to play this season the squad is beginning to look thin.
We are chancing our arm for Odegaard and Saka to be fit for long periods of the season.
