The curse of United 😂

Once again a player does the thing at a new club he didn’t at ours ..

I wish him well, but selling him was the right thing to do. Mazouari is a much better player.

We saw AWB go on these kind of runs all the time for us. He's always been very good at getting himself out of a tricky spot with good footwork and skill. I wonder if it goes unnoticed because he has an awkward, lanky style.

He'll do well for West Ham.

Yesterday Dalot put in great cross for Diallo, was seen the furthest up the pitch on at least 2 occasions.

Mazaroui set up out equaliser.

I did have a chuckle seeing AWB flying up the wing yesterday though.

I’ve definitely seen him do this kind of thing for us.

One of the strangest things about AWB is that I, an amataur, would back myself over AWB to ping a ball over from one full back position to the opposite side. I don't think I've seen a footballer look so uncomfortable kicking the ball. Kasey Keller an honourable mention though.

He ran in a straight line, did a 180 and passed the ball sideways. It's hardly Cafu in his pomp.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He beat the first press with some skill, carried the ball to the pitch, drew two players to himself and bamboozled them and then played it into space for his teammate to pick up at speed and progressing to goal.

It is far from being just about that aspect of his game though isn't it.

AWB is/was and will always be a far far better DEFENDER than Dalot. And that, after all, his his primary job.

Absolutely no need to have sold him. Whoever made the decision, the club or the coaches, didn't have the best interests of the club in mind at the decision-making point.

If the club starts with dalot, rashford and casemiro in this league, then they are not only going to be unlikely to win, then they are also be quite likely to lose.

From what I’ve seen of Mazraoui, I’d rather we kept AWB, Bayern must be laughing at us right now!
