One match ban enabled
A match that I pray will prove to be more thrilling than the pretty much non existent transfer business that our club is again failing to engage in.
Team selection will be interesting, Burnley started the season brightly but were beaten by Sunderland last weekend amid what appears to be a fire sale of their best players, but none that we can afford it seems.
So a dilemma for O'Neil, does he make changes, rotate his squad for this in the hope Scott Parker does the same, or play it safe(ish) and go strong despite the capitulation on Sunday. Some players must surely be in contention for a run out, Bentley, Bueno, Dawson, Doyle, Traore you would imagine will start. Possibly Chiquinho and Rodrigo Gomes too. Other changes may depend on formation and how close the likes of Podence and Guedes are to negotiating moves.
As much as Cinci and I would welcome an early birthday present I've a feeling this may be a goalless, turgid, 💩 of a game and we'll scrape through on pens. Hope I'm wrong and we rack up a cricket score or even a convincing 2-0, but my expectations aren't high.
Sorry 😁

I’d certainly take Guedes and Podence over Hwang and Bellegarde
Chiquinho looked very lively last night but is still a raw talent. Kind of guy that would be good from the bench if you wanted to liven things up, in an Adama Traore kinda way

This Andre has been on the radar of some of the top teams in Europe so could be a really good signing. Just not sure where he fits into our 11

Still find it hard to believe we would have rejected a 20+ mill bid for Hwang. Has to be a false rumour surely.
I didn't think Bellegarde looked that bad first half Sunday, seemed to carry the ball decent enough but then went missing at other times. felt like he did more than he actually did, 9 touches first half apparently!! What do I know

Aguerd evidently doesn’t want to come to wolves, he is hoping to get a deal to move to Saudi

Off on my travels again today, Southern Africa for a few weeks before dropping onto the UK for a week to do some house shat. Hopefully by the time I get back we have settled down a bit and hopefully when I get the chance to check the internet over the next few days we have made a surprise addition on top of what is coming.

Sad for Boubacar that his plans for the season with Wolves or elsewhere are blown out of the water by the injury he picked up against Burnley. Will be out of action for months

Yeah that does suck for him and us

Had totally missed that the six big euro clubs got a fixed league cup draw so they couldn't face each other? I don't understand why that needs to happen? So what if they face each other? If that is true then just another step toward the death of football, we are being played for mugs.
