With Manchester City and Liverpool fighting for the title as we are used to, the rest of the league will be far behind. So who will finish top 4?
Arsenal
Arsenal are considered by many the best of the rest. However, the squad still appears a bit short as already missing Rice for one game has created a problem in midfield. Arteta doesn't know how to manage a squad and for some reason seems oblivious to the fact Arsenal needed a striker. I reckon Arsenal will finish 3rd or 4th.
Tottenham
I think they'll be inconsistent this year but I feel they will take the other 4th spot because simply, the other teams arent that good or are playing in europe for the first time in ages
Other potential teams
Aston Villa - I think they'll fight for it but they'll struggle with the CL games and miss out
Chelsea - I think they will be better than the past 2 seasons but they will fall away into a europa battle much before that. Still progress
Man Utd - I think they'll continue to be inconsistent. ETH will be sacked by Xmas which may help them but it'll be too late
Newcastle - I think they could fight properly this season with no europe to worry about, but I dont think they are one of the top 4 or 5 best teams in the league
Outsiders
Brighton - I think they'll be in the hunt for Conference. Don't see any bid for CL football personally.
West Ham - Same as Brighton
I dont think any other team has even an outside chance
Who will finish in the top 4?

have to say my Liverpool outside top 4 and United in it shout before the season start is looking more laughable by the day

surely if Newcastle dont get CL, Isak will be on the move
do think they dont have the defence even without europe to push for it

Spurs have got the players to finish top 4, just need Ange to realize you're not gonna win every game 4-0 and a draw away from home is sometimes a good result.
Maybe someone could explain to him that those 4 blokes at stood on the half way line are to there to stop the ball going in our goal

If spurs can get Solanke on the pitch they maybe able to push for 4/5th place.
Early days yet but not a great start for them.

PMGOL are going to be after Arsenal and deliberately go out of their way to not give any decisions in their favour but be more lenient with the opposition every single game as was proved in the Brighton game
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Other than not booking Pedro for kicking the ball away, what did the ref get wrong in the Brighton game?
Because you lot moaning about about rice getting a second yellow for the same thing you wanted Pedro booked for in the first half his laughable. Rice kicked the ball away to delay the taking of the free kick and the restart of the game.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Pedro's wasnt even the same. He and the ball were off the pitch and the multi ball system allows Arsenal to take the throwing asap....no delay whatsoever.
But Arsenal fans follow their whinging leaders example.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh come on you would be seething if that had happened to one of your players. The ball wasn't even in the right place to take the free kick and it wasn't stationary. So if anyone was delaying the game it was the Brighton player.
With regards to the other incidents Saka is pulled back in the first five minutes no card for the offender. Five minutes before half time Partey does exactly the same thing and gets booked. Their centre half does the most blatant feigning injury and ten seconds later bounces straight back up as soon as he realises he isn't getting a free kick, no card. Then you have the main incident if Pedro isn't getting booked then how can you book Rice it's just ridiculous.

Points wise it’s not a great start pranks
In context though we battered Leicester and should have got 3 points
Newcastle we got humped last season but played well this time and deserved a point maybe 3
Agreed though 4th / 5th ….just think our points don’t match performances so far but it’s a points thing I get that

That’s kinda my point re Solanke , you’re playing ok but not scoring enough from the chances you get.
Spurs should be in the mix for 4th however I think that pack will be way behind the other 3 teams.

Yeah said Liverpool, Arsenal and city be well clear earlier in this thread
Solanke needs a goal and quick otherwise he could be become nervous and the pressure will build
Winner against Arsenal will do nicely

If solanke fires Spurs could def be in for top 4.
It’s weird cos I think Ange has turned it around massively but he just seems to gun ho to win the pl.
Starting XI is top draw and on their day a match for anyone I just think Ange is a bit 1 dimensional, even if spurs are great to watch.
