Arsenal/City rivalry

Are we about to see a proper rivalry pop off between the two teams? City players were quite negative about Arsenal’s approach after the game, the game itself had a lot of controversy and players were quite aggressive.

The Liverpool City one never really took off, it was all a bit too respectful and nice between the two teams even after some controversial games etc over the years.

The PL is itching for another Arsenal Utd story. One thing I will say, Arteta, unlike Klopp, isn’t liked as much which will add to it. On top of that his ability to go from attack to ultra defensive in the same game, not seen since at a big club since peak Mourinho is unreal. At times it was reminiscent to that 2nd leg between Pep’s Barca vs Mourinho’s Inter in 2010.
Arteta has his flaws, but I’m so happy that we can finally play boring, defensive football if required, to get results

With Liverpool it's generally the fans we don't like after some recent incidents.

With Arsenal it's Arteta and some of the players that stoke the rivalry.

Your lot don't like LFC because we are genuine club..
something your club will never attain

Your owners illegally pumped 100s of millions into the club by backdoor means.
That meant you were able to strengthen all over the squad and that money as been floating around the club since, in purchases and sales .

Newcastle is prime example they are learning they can't go and buy who they want for any price..
There are rules..

There is no rivalry with City for me. Don’t really care what their fans or players have to say. Or ours for that matter. We need to win the league and City are standing in our way, that’s all it is to me, it’s nothing personal. City can win a treble of cups this season for all I care, as long as we win the league.

you obviously DON'T KNOW the rules had changed since them days.. YOU DO REALZE. if it was the case now the Moores family would have to follow the laws.. Something your owners seem to not understand.

Perhaps it would have been resolved quicker if they hadn’t kept moving the goalposts

It’s a shame they dropped the charges about City refusing to compete in the FA Cup during the 2 seasons they got to the final.

Perhaps they were worried the charges wouldn’t stick 😹

City had no say over when and where the hearing would take place
