I guess it depends on how severe the punishments are for the ongoing trial.
Will be difficult for a rivalry to develop if they are in a different league
But there is already a competitive rivalry based on the last few seasons
“The difference between the rivalry with Arsenal and Liverpool? Maybe it's that Liverpool have already won a PL and Arsenal haven't. That Liverpool have won a CL and Arsenal haven't. And that Liverpool always face us with the intention of winning the game."
Bernado Silva.
I’d say you’ve rattled them, for sure.
Think theyre showing signs of being rattled by the 115 aswell
That rattled that they won the Treble and then the league again since the charges were announced

No Liverpool are just down the road. They are local rivals. Arsenal are just another bunch of cockneys. You all look the same to us. Sorry.
With Liverpool it's generally the fans we don't like after some recent incidents.
With Arsenal it's Arteta and some of the players that stoke the rivalry.
I see half the City squad are whining again
Naughty Arsenal and their dark arts (anyone remember which managers' team that term originated from?)
In fairness, like most winners including Klopp, Wenger and Fergie they are very sore losers when it happens!

I cant get around the comments Arsenal use the dark arts yesterday.
I thought the dark arts came in after 10 seconds when Rodry wanted to get off Havertz for no reasons.

Oh, we used them GT! Raya took at least 45 seconds on every goal kick. But yes Rodri got his karma for trying to cheat 10 seconds in, and City would have used exactly the same tactics had they been a goal up and man down! In fact they would have been far more efficient, Peps Barca team basically invented half of them

Everyone was baffled when Raya just sat on the floor for no reason.
I've since learnt its an Arsenal tactic to stop play so Arteta can give a team talk.
Without the timewating, there would only have been 3/4 minutes stoppage time and City wouldn't have got the equalizer.
Karma at its finest.

City fans talking about karma.
When the biggest dose of karma imaginable could be right round the corner.
Somehow I don't think City fans lecturing about karma in such a situation is going to help your karma in the courtroom.
The thing with added time, Boris, is that it is time added onto the regulation 90 minutes of play for stoppages. I don’t think any Arsenal fans dispute the 7 minutes ET yesterday.
The only way your theory therefore works is if the ref had subtracted time because he’d forgotten to set the video for Countryfile.
It's been what, 4 games since they've beaten us. Including the charity shield. I'd say they're rattled.
The time added on in the first half was due to rodri pretending havertz had hit him in the face when it was just a shoulder barge. Then of course, his actual injury. Forgive me for thinking he was pretending with that one too.

How many trophies have you won during that magnificent run?
It's definitely a fierce moral rivalry.
Do you support the team that cheats off the pitch or the team that cheats on the pitch?
Dp you support the team thst plays attacking football, but is only able to do so by breaking FFP rules, or do you support the team that does all the dark arts and everything that the average neutral detests about football, but at least followed FFP rules
