Baggies lost tonight, might just keep that annoying Villa fan at work quite who keeps reminding me that "they're effectively only one place below you now"

I was getting similar comments from Albion fans too. But their fixtures have been the complete opposite of ours - playing teams from the bottom 3 or 4. The only two decent teams they have played they have drawn and lost to.

well played Villa, great result and enjoyable to watch , Duran goal and Martinez top quality, not living in the Midlands I don’t need to dislike them

Never had a problem with Villa and have a number of friends that support them. Great result for them tonight despite being outplayed for large parts. Their keeper had a blinder

Also a great result for Benfica beating Athletico Madrid 4-0. They hadn’t had a great start to the season but Bruno Lage took over as their manager at the beginning of September and they’ve won every game since

Yeah fair play to the Villa, good to see a midlands club doing it at that level for a change. As i alluded to in the Villa match thread, they've come from behind us, promoted a year after, and now beating bayern in the CL. They're going to be insufferable now though.
