An away win looked pretty certain in this one all along but with then news that additional players could be ruled out with a virus makes it even more likely. Still bottom tonight
Today’s game brings back memories of when we went to Anfield in 1984. Liverpool were top of the league and on their way to the title and European Cup. Wolves were bottom and on their way to relegation. Wolves won 1-0 with Steve Mardenborough getting the goal, the only goal he ever scored for Wolves. Soon after he left the club on a free transfer and played for Swansea, Newport and Cardiff before a decent spell at Darlington. In true Leon Clarke style he ended up playing for over 20 clubs, most of them Welsh non league teams.
Read something this week that I wasn’t aware of. His son became a world famous racing driver. A level below formula one but in Formula 3, Le Mans and other endurance races. In 2023 a film called Gran Turismo was released telling the story of his career
I think we will score, but it depends on how many Liverpool score, Pond could well be thrown in at the deep end

Wolves tried and failed to bring in an experienced centre back to replace Kilman. If they had done then evidently Santi Bueno would have gone out on loan
hopefully we will ruin people’s acca’s today, I always get abusive messages from friends when that happens
Jeez Alisson without a beard! I'd never recognise him. He looks years younger.

What’s it all about Alfie?
I've read lots of reaction to John Percy's article in the telegraph but not the actual article itself. Any telegraph subscribers on here actually read it?
Great to see Jimenez approaching his best again. Talk of his demise was a little premature.
Wolves: Johnstone, Semedo, Bueno, Toti, Ait-Nouri, Andre, J.Gomes, Lemina, Bellegarde, Cunha, Larsen.
Subs: Sa, Pond, Doherty, Doyle, Forbs, R.Gomes, Sarabia, Hwang, Guedes.
So Dawson ill.
Probably our weakest back line in a prem game since promotion
Hope Toti is fit and they're not chucking him in out of desperation
you would think Doherty would start given his experience but we shall see
Don't think anyone expects anything from this but that won't stop Wolfies back 3 rant being as funny as ever later.
Wolves playing some nice football
Looking good as usual. Our demise is greatly exaggerated. Will still lose today but wins are coming if we keep playing like this.
Good half overall, playing decent considering the opposition and issues we have at the back.
Johnstone though, what a waste of ten million, he is in no way an upgrade on Sa.
difficult to save that , think he looks ok
Liverpool defending worse than us there 🤣
