but we have just outdone them did not get goalside of the striker
Gary Neville lambasted our lack of urgency in getting it out from the back given we were a goal down , it was embarrassing at times
Not long got back. God I hate sitting in the Steve bull upper
How was that not a foul on cunha for their opener and was it a pen for the second
Pen was fairly weak but still careless from Semedo.
Not too disappointed to be honest. Played pretty well all things considered. But toothless in the final third as usual. Why Hwang still?? Guedes surely gets a look. Bellegarde or Forbs?
Probably a fair result, though had we grabbed a second we'd have been good value for a draw today i think. Showed good character to come back and get the goal but that penalty was booolshiiit.
Thought Santi and Toti were solid, Johnstone had some mad moments playing out. Ederson he is not.

Hwang is a waste of a shirt currently, sat their my wife said why isn't he on, he'd been on about 15 minutes
Forbes looked lovely today as did bellegarde
Fantastic performance and one in which we were by far the better team.
Just a shame we lost we again.
Midfield one of the best in Europe currently for sure.
Nothing to worry about yet.
So much better a performance than I was expecting today. Especially after seeing the team sheet, but Santi Bueno and Toti did really well having been thrown in at the deep end. In the end it was decided by Liverpool scoring at the perfect moments. One minute before half time and one minute after our equaliser. Sadly yet another day where we played well and came away with nothing. Hope we can keep the spirits and confidence up for when we have easier fixtures

Someone's been on the happy juice.
I thought we were very good in spells and I'm sure that results will come. We've got to get the ball in the box quicker though.
The changes are the biggest issue i have with GON at the moment. Bring on an out and out winger and take off the CF and bring on Hwang?? My Nan is more mobile and she died in 1981.
Just watched the whole match having recorded it and credit goes to both Toti and Bueno for a sound performance. Nice try cinci, but from what I saw, we played a back three for large segments of the game with Lemina slotting in when both Semedo and RAN went forward. The latter having one of his best games and being in the right spot for our equalizer. Lemina (my choice for Wolves' best player), Gomes and Andre very solid across the middle. I thought Cunha had an average game by his standard and although Larsen did very well to set up our equalizer, I still think he's not the answer up front. maybe when we play the so called lesser teams he'll do better and would like to see Guedes given more game time. As for Hwang...the less said the better and I hope we can get a decent offer in January and move him on.
Not sure who should start in goal as I believe both Sa and Johnstone are pretty much as goos as each other. Bentley appears to have an unknown injury according to transfermrkt.
A solid first 30 minutes or so, then Liverpool took control and were the slightly better side in the second half.
On this performance, I'm slightly more confident that we'll avoid a dog fight, but we do tend to drop our performance levels playing the so called lesser sides.
I think it's one win in 16 matches now, which can really test the confidence we have in the manager.
Brentford away next, then another tough one against Man City.
Lots of encouraging performances from our team yesterday which does give confidence that the results will come when we play lesser opposition.
Johnstone made some good saves and dealt well with crosses but his distribution left a lot to be desired at times.
GON seems keen to stick with a back 4 and I have more confidence in that set up than I had at the beginning of the season. Semedo and RAN are both adjusting well to that set up. And yesterday we started with two centre backs that would have been nobodies choice if everyone had been fit but they both played really well.
The defence does get good protection from Andre and Gomes who are both top drawer. And Lemina must have coveted every blade of grass onthe pitch despite being far from fully fit and needing treatment on a number of occasions.
Bellegarde is doing ok but is the one whose place is probably most at threat. Cunha didn’t have a good game yesterday but that’s a rarity for him. Strand Larsen has done well against the top teams and did really well with his hold up play and laying off yesterday and set up our goal. Telling that we ceased to be an attacking threat when he went off. And there was some promise shown by Forbs.
Big game at Brentford next week when it would be important to get a result.
Brentford will be tough, but I thought that last season and we battered them at their place. Would take a draw right now.
I've always said that the table only starts to mean anything until 6 games in but in all honesty you can't say that about Wolves this time.
Was amazed with Lemina yesterday. I reckon at times he took up about every outfield position on the pitch. Top player.
Lemina gave his all and after the final whistle he was in floods of tears on the pitch
The next series of the tv programme ‘I’m a celebrity get me out of here’ will be broadcast next year. Reading that one of the celebs might be Mick McCarthy
To add to our defensive injury problems, Santi Bueno went off yesterday with a glute injury.
Dawson missed the game to being laid up with the virus going round the club last week but he should be fine by next weekend
Evidently Raul took the ball off Fulhams nominated penalty taker yesterday? Self evidently keen to beat Hernandes record for Mexican goal scores in the Prem.
Will we ever truly replace him? Doubt it with current budget restrictions
Yes Raul very nearly back to his best
How much did we sell him for? Absolute peanuts in retrospect.
Would have been a great addition to the current thin squad imho
Said a while back that he would be good for double figures if he played each week and that seems accurate given his strike rate at Fulham.
Put it in your diary:
9th November is our first Saturday 3.00pm KO.
This subject to change as Sky are sure to want to bill this as a bottom of the table relegation 6 pointer.
Fabio’s new team Las Palmas lost at Villarreal on Monday to keep them anchored to the bottom of the league. One positive note is that Fabio scored his first goal for the club in their 3-1 loss. He is playing up front alongside football league journeyman Ollie McBurnie
Chem Campbell on loan at Reading this season and he’s scored his first goal for them tonight against Burton
And Chem had now added a second
