โฆin 2021. Ole was interviewed recently and expressed a regret that he went along with the club signing Ronaldo in an effort to stop City getting him. If indeed that was the case how would Ronaldo have done at City? Would he have scored more goals than Haaland? Is there a bizarro world where he goes to City and we sign Haaland instead?
* yes a clickbait article title
Man City to sign Ronaldo

We had a GD of 29 that season.
That seems unthinkable for us at the moment.

Yeah you're right
My bad, was looking at the 2020/21 season, not the one after.

Apparently Ronaldo has not won a trophy in almost 5 years. Not sure how true that stat is.

I don't think he would have scored that much more for them than he did for us.
What he would have done for them is given them the same issues he gave us, which were plentiful.

Exactly VC. At least us signing Ronaldo stopped Liverpool getting to 20. Every cloud and all that.

What a weird stupid plonker you are. If you think a C grade managers like ole and Ralph got Ronaldo to 3rd top scorer in this league and that he would’ve struggled more to score for an elite manager like pep, you are a new fool like this cretin VC. Ronaldo struggling at city. My word I have had it all. It is one team he could get away with not tracking

City were never interested in Ronaldo, it was a myth invented by the media
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not sure about that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Probably instigated by his agent then lapped up by the media.
Pep more or less said City were never interested which makes sense with the club's pay structure.

He's not a Pep player. There was no chance he was going there.
Probably his agent put the stories in the paper
