I might be in the minority here but I hope we stay well clear.
I’ve no doubt he’d improve us above our current levels but he’s not really shown anywhere that he’s capable of getting a club like ours back to where we want to be.

Why lol?

You don't really need to have a team of international stars to win a major tournament.
It helps, obviously, but sometimes it can be enough to have a collection of solid players that gel at the right time and under the right manager.
Neither Italy nor Spain looked like the most likely Euro champions going into the past two editions.
Germany seem to be on a pretty decent track with Nagelsmann. I don't see why it would come as a great shock if they did make a final in the not so distant future.

I appreciate that, but Germany just seem to have real problems at international tournaments nowadays. They’ve had a lot more talent in their team than recent years and ended up out in the group stages.
I don’t think using examples of Italy and Spain surprising at the Euros makes it any less of a surprise were Germany to do it and reach a final.
I reckon Nagelsmann will be gone after the world cup anyway, and if they don’t do it there then it remains to be seen where they go after him, especially as the Germans have a real worry over the talent pool at the players they’ve been producing in recent years and what is in the pipeline.
It’s been ten years since Germany reached a final. I don’t think it’s outrageous to suggest I can’t see that changing any time soon.
