Football boots

Does anyone play football here?

For years I've been wearing Nike boots, their vision / phantom range but the new models GX 2 do not fit my feet.
I've tried the usual size, 10.5, which was way too big. Size 10 is too small.
I've tried the Superflys but they're too narrow for my feet which are fairly wide.
I've tried Adidas x crazyfast, predators, puma future kings, all different sizes but my feet just seem to be in-between the full and half sizes. Either too big or small.

I tried to buy the old phantoms but they're not made anywhere or out of stock in my size.
No shop I go to has my size as 10/10.5 seem to be the most common.

When I play, the boots I use need to be tight. I like my feet to be at the end of the boot for better control but they can't be so tight that it causes pain.

Kind of at a loss, I've bought and sent back 8 pairs of boots in the last month nth. My current pair of boots are knackered and the FG studs have worn out almost completely and are causing calf pain.

Anyone have as many issues buying football boots as me? Fackkng pissing me off.
I've got wide feet, and my feet seem to go from size 9.5 up to 11, depending on the brand. In Nike phantoms I was 10.5 which was absolute perfection.

Is there a brand that I havent tried yet. Perhaps one of the lesser popular ones such as Mizuno that might fit my feet perfectly?

Go for a bigger size and try an insole?

I love my phantom visions too.

Not tried the GX II yet though. Have you tried the phantom luna boots, any different?

Where do you usually go for your boots? I use prodirectsoccer or lovellsoccer as they usually have a good range with decent prices.

Had a quick look and there are a few phantoms on PDS which aren’t GX II but none left in 10 or 10.5.

I’ve had pumas in the past but they were the V1.11s years ago, a little narrow but decent. I’m not sure what the latest styles are like so unable to suggest anything else I’m afraid.

Tough one when you can’t get your preferred style any more. Good luck!

The visions are an olddd model now but one of my favourites.
The Luna is exactly the same as the standard model apart from the ankle sock.
I use the same websites or direct on Nike, Adidas etc.

The puma futures are for wide feet, so they are nice width wide but length, can't get it right!

Damn that is expensive.
Do these actually work and make the boot feel tight / fitting though? Never tried them to be fair.

Well cheap if they work but be very careful wearing something designed to correct your gait in case you don't have said gait problem as it could bring on injury. Always worth having it analysed by a biomechanic expert who would also be able to design you proper orthotics for your issues. They are usually ex-sportspeople and understand your issues.

whn I played I always wore a size smaller. Only ever had one pair at a time which would last me all season.

Been using Tiempos for a while, nice boots although none of the boots I use seem to last long anymore. Might be due to turf? Nike are pretty good for replacing them though if they break in under a year.

Love the Copa Mundials too.
