Will be watching this game with interest.
Feel like both clubs have had a pretty friendly start to the season.
Chelsea played City at the Bridge on the opening weekend of the season, which was always going to be a tough one for the new regime, and have since gone on to show surprisingly decent form, but so far the only other top current top 10 side was a home win vs BHA.
They have done well to beat what's in front of them, and any team who consistently beats all the middle to bottom sides will end up well placed, but now they've got up to speed and a bit of rhythm, this will be the real test for them, particularly away from home.
Liverpool have probably had the kindest of starts of all teams, and sit top. Again, you can only beat what's in front of you and they have got the job done. But so far they have only played Forest inside the current top 10 (10th) and lost and their toughest game, on paper at least, has probably been Utd away (14th). Played 6 of the bottom 9 so far.
Liverpool with home advantage and the best defence in the league and Chelsea with the 2nd best attack behind City, so far, will be interesting to see which one comes out of this looking like genuine Top 4 or better contenders, or whether the kind start to the season has given a false impression of their progress.

As long as arsenal keep taking peds, and city don’t get convicted hard to see past either of them. We’re shiiit, Chelsea will probably be looking for a new manager next summer as will spurs.

To answer Blackpolespur this, see how u dont see Utd as top 4 conttenders thats how a lot see Spurs. Surely if Liverpool are comfortably 3rd 4ths between Chelsea Villa and Newcastle.

Okay I’ll bite
Why do Tottenham have no chance of top 4?
City, arsenal and Liverpool look like top 3 as it stands
There is no stand out for fourth …..villa are pretty strong but champs league is going to test their squad and 2nd half of the season could see them start to struggle
Chelsea I just don’t rate ….one man band but they will up and around it
Newcastle ….same as Chelsea
4th is fight between villa, chelsea, Newcastle and spurs ….liverpool will be closer to those than city and arsenal

Agree with all that except the last line.
Think this year will be a three way race with all three worthy of being champions.
Spurs for me have a good shot at fourth but Chelsea have too many good players to be sh!t and will be thereabouts.

Only reason I didn’t mention United is ETH….he has lost the dressing room ….they are going backwards. They get someone else in they would join the equation (new manager bounce would give them a huge lift….their squad is as good as the others I’ve mentioned)
Wouldn’t say ‘lots’ think that of spurs…..your entitled to your opinion but there isn’t much difference between Newcastle chelsea and us (we shouldn’t have lost to Newcastle)…we are all inconsistent ….not sure why you think they are so much better
Villa the standout but I do think champions league will catch up with them

Id prefer Spurs to get fourth over all of them bar maybe villa btw i just dont think they will based on what ive seen this season so far from all those teams.

The race for fourth will be extremely competitive this season. However I'm not sure why we're talking about top four. Top five make the CL so it should be top five we're talking about. Not like you win a trophy for fourth.
My prediction is:-

Arsenal
City
Chelsea
Spurs
Villa
Newcastle
