Personally, I want them both to lose. Why? get Chelsea but why would a Spurs fan give a toss about Liverpool lol? Not like Spurs have a chance at top 4 is it.

Should actually be a good game between the two clubs for once.
Late Sunday kick off at Anfield will be a real test for Chelsea I feel, and one I suspect they will fail.

Our start we've deserved every result we've had inc the loss. Felt we've had a few more clean sheets than we probably should have but same time we should have scored a hell of a lot more than we have too, swings and roundabouts. Tougher tests to come. We can be got at for sure not that our def have done much wrong so far on an individual level outside Konates mistake with Alisson.
Chelsea attacks been on fire at times, both sides have a lot of creativity but Chelsea look sus defensively at times too. Recently theres been a lot of low scoring draws between the 2 sides even in cup finals gooing to pens etc. Surely that can't be the case this weekend?
Head says 2-2 heart 3-2.

Chelsea definitely have improved but I think Liverpool be too good for them - sharper, more cohesive, better control of games.

Maybe our PL fixtures have been easier, although United away is never supposed to easy. Look last season. This LFC squad has not changed for a while so even if they have not played the better sides so far, we still know we can perform in the big games.
Also lets not brush under the carpet how we made AC Milan look like a championship club. We owned the San Siro.

Routine win for liverpool I think.
We should have got something out of the city game tbh, but should have lost to bournemouth. So we're still a work in progress and I think, like the city game, it's come too early.
Late kick off too, atmosphere will be red hot and this young team seem to struggle in those conditions.

Chelsea real improvement this season with less overhaul but still too much and dependant on young players coming good quickly. Had them for top four start of the season and I still think they'll get it but can't see them getting away from a beating this weekend.

The table will probably look different come the end of the season. Some of the teams in the bottom 6 now will not finish there. It's good we have faced certain teams when not at their best. Hopefully they can take points off our rivals as they climb up the table.

At the moment it does look like a blip considering it's the only game we have failed to win this season. But we do need to see how we fare against better sides.

Not really sure how one defeat is concerning, it happens. We conceded one goal and couldn't score, which is not a problem we usually have and that was enough to lose the game. It was an off day.
Teams have won the league with several defeats so one defeat is certainly not concerning. Nothing really to be concerned about thus far but as people keep mentioning, it has been quite an easy start. People see that as a negative but often an easy start is a positive for a team under a new manager as they get to grips with the new asks and expectations whilst still picking up points and then go into the better games more accustomed to the requirements of the new coaching team.

Why do Tottenham have no chance of top 4?
City, arsenal and Liverpool look like top 3 as it stands
There is no stand out for fourth …..villa are pretty strong but champs league is going to test their squad and 2nd half of the season could see them start to struggle
Chelsea I just don’t rate ….one man band but they will up and around it
Newcastle ….same as Chelsea
4th is fight between villa, chelsea, Newcastle and spurs ….liverpool will be closer to those than city and arsenal

Think this year will be a three way race with all three worthy of being champions.

Only reason I didn’t mention United is ETH….he has lost the dressing room ….they are going backwards. They get someone else in they would join the equation (new manager bounce would give them a huge lift….their squad is as good as the others I’ve mentioned)

The race for fourth will be extremely competitive this season. However I'm not sure why we're talking about top four. Top five make the CL so it should be top five we're talking about. Not like you win a trophy for fourth.
