I would give him two seasons, back him and ignore bad results. But would like to see us play as a team.

Top 4 finish and a cup.
Just top 4.
Outside top 4 but win Europa.
Outside top 4 and any cup win,
Outside top 6 only but see a philosophy building.
Win the league cos we go on an unbelievable run of games.

How long are people willing to give him to get his identity across whilst performances/results are likely going to be inconsistent, maybe even a few hammerings if players really struggle to adapt at first?

While it’s incredible what he’s still doing at almost 40, if you’ve watched the end of his time at United and the last 2 major international tournaments and still think he could be the answer I’d worry for you.

While it’s incredible what he’s still doing at almost 40, if you’ve watched the end of his time at United and the last 2 major international tournaments and still think he could be the answer I’d worry for you.

Depends how many bad results you ware willing to ignore and what the consequences of a string of bad results especially at home can bring. Like he says he knows that bad results are bad for the club, the moral of players and supporters who pay to go to games expecting to be entertained.

My point is, Ronaldo, love or hate him, would 100% have many goals in this United team if he were in it as he is a proven, guaranteed goal scorer and a world class one.

From memory, in his last season with us we barely created anything for him to finish.
Our issue now is we create a lot but have nobody to finish the chances.

FYI I don't want him back, the original comment was said in jest so calm your t!ts but there's no doubt he'd have quite a few goals for us if he was here this season.

It was embarrassing watching the players trying to get Ronaldo to score under Ragnick. He could barely hit a barn door.

Would he score more than Zirkzee? No doubt.

Would he score more than Hojlund with the same minutes? Quite possibly.

Would we be better as a team for it? Absolutely not.
