Kids are lucky to have social media imo just needs better educating on it etc, some things as a result from it are horrible. But that doesnt mean its all bad and should bad it completely, thats just the wrong way to go about it and pretty facked up.

I think it’s a good thing even if it saves one kid from the kind of horrific abuse they get on social media

This for example, id argue it saves more lives than it takes. Theres much more good than bad out there, lot of inspiring stuff. If a kids gonna go down the wrong path theyre gonna do that regardless in my experience.

Kids will still be influenced by social media. This will just stop them having an official account and allow them time to grow, adapt and gain the maturity needed to navigate social media these days.

I was around before the internet and social media and I've seen it from the start. I'd support this move. We don't need kids looking at all that racist and hateful sheet every single day. I think it does more harm than good IMO.

I think the world was a better place before social media personally. It will never happen because it makes people too much money but I'd get rid of it all if I could.

I have Facebook but never post on it and can't even remember last time I logged into it. Definitely a few weeks.

I have X / Twitter but mostly for news updates on football and gigs going on sale.

Never had an account on Instagram, Tiktok and don't see that changing. Never used Snapchat either as I just
WhatsApp and none others.

Im almost identical to this, only difference is I dont have twitter either.

If social media ended tomorrow it would make not 1 difference to me.

Its ashame as social media is 1 of the greatest inventions there has been. Unfortunately, a hige potion of humans have poisoned it for nothing other than their own self interests and greed.

Driving

Social media would have been fine but as with everything it is used the wrong way. AI is gonna make things even worse. Could be great, won't be.


I have FB and thats it, never had any other social media accounts other than JA/Molmix for Wolves

Sadly dumb fack parents will still be dumb fack parents so trying to be 'best friends' with their kids rather than parents they will just create accounts for them to use.
