Asked the other half last week if she'd been offered any tickets for this, yes loads she said but I'd rather sign up for the assisted dieing. OK that story was very last week but you probably get the sense that the home side are in a similar place to us in terms of fan discontent with coach and club. A. Wolves win would probably mean curtains for Dyche, O'Neil might just survive a close away defeat but no doubt the clocks ticking quite loudly now.
The farce at molineux on Saturday brought back memories of David Davies's back pass, Carl Ikeme's confrontation with a tactics board, Hennessey and Johnson scrapping on the pitch and O'Hara being handed back his shirt. In all those dark times however I can't recall such defensive ineptitude as we've seen just lately. Santi Bueno must surely return, along with Dawson in a back three. Doherty may return in place of the suspended Semedo.
Individual errors and terrible defending have cost us dear, scoring goals, no problem, 2.46 goals per game conceded however will relegate any team. Time to wake up Gary and get that sorted or step aside for someone that can.
Goldi's prediction 1-2 🙏

Must not lose this one, would take a draw but obviously a win is really required.
1-1.

I would hope we get 3 points from this one. However, I've just looked at our home league form since we lost that cup tie to Coventry. Played 11 Won 1 Drawn 1 Lost 9 Goals 11- 26.
That's the area I'm concerned with and the main reason GON is treading a fine line in my book and if we don't improve in the next couple of games, he has to go.

That's pretty damming, but we are playing away.
Our final trip to Goodison in fact and somewhere we've enjoyed a number of decent results in recent years. Particularly remember sitting in the main stand when we won 3-1 and as each goal went in relaxing a little more as I began to realise that I was in fact surrounded by wolves fans.

Great post mate. Although the impact of that crushing defeat to Coventry in the cup is denied by one particular luminary on ‘ere, it evidently can’t be ignored any longer.
Looks like GON lost something in that defeat that he’s never been able to get back.

Interesting game between a team that doesn’t score many and a team that can’t defend. Who knows how that will pan out. I suspect fans of both teams will expect their side to lose.
Think we must return to a back 3 with Bueno, Dawson and Toti. And despite all the criticism on Saturday I’d still play Sa ahead of Johnstone. And I guess we’ll see another game for the comeback kid Doherty who has been recalled to our team numerous times over the years.
Another selection dilemma is who plays on the right of attack. We’ve seen Bellegarde, Rodrigo and Forbs given chances. Personally I’d pick Guedes ahead of any of those.

I've liked the look of Guedes recently, but has he actually started a league game this season? Both Rodrigo and Bellegarde do a lot of running about but don't produce a lot, although they both give the opposition something to think about.
Maybe Guedes might continue to be used as a sub, as he has done well generally for 15-20 minutes here and there. Forbes, I think, isn't ready to start, though he looks a decent player.
