Vitor Pereiera is now officially Wolves 36th manager and as is often the way he inherits a less than ideal set of circumstances. Not even remotely on the radar a week ago he has quite a task on his hands to repair confidence and plug the gaping holes in our porous defense.
History is not on our side either, no victories in the city with one of the strangest accents out there since 2007. Maybe it's overdue?
Ait Nouri and probably Cunha will be suspended after the ridiculous post match shenanigans last Saturday so enforced changes and it will be interesting to see what others the new gaffer will make with limited options.
So, welcome Vitor, this is your chance to become the hero of a medium sized post industrial city in the middle of England. Something he surely could have only dreamed of as a child.

Yeah, actually surprised how bad you were honestly. Why is that? I thought Ruud had given you a boost but based on that then i guess not.

Be a test for our defence at Spurs next Sunday. In their last 5 games, Spurs have scored 16 and conceded 14

Really liked playing in the all old gold today. Wish we'd do it more often.

Mentioned the other day about the first language of players in our squad. Yesterday 8 of the starting 11 were Portuguese speakers, plus the manager. I wouldn't be surprised if that was the greatest ever proportion of players in the PL with a common first language other than English.
Don't suppose that's a stat that is kept anywhere.

There were a lot of Italians at Watford during the early part of the last decade.
Don’t think anyone else would come close?
