It will more than likely be March before we pick up our next points in the league.

We had our chance to accumulate points in November and we blew it.

By the end of January, Fosun will really be feeling the heat from the stands.

A toxic fog is descending over WV1 ………

Misery

Evidently we are seemingly looking to sign centre back Kevin Danso in January.

Fosun Out!

Evidently Danso attended St Paul's Catholic school in Milton Keynes

Good luck to Pereira, he’s going to need it no matter how good a manager he is. Our horrific defensive record cannot continue if we are to see any improvement in results. And the disciplinary issues that have emerged after recent games showed that all hasn’t been well off the field as well as on it. First task is to get a point or three against a Leicester team that have seen a new manager bounce. And we’ll have to do that without key players where there’s no obvious replacements. Any points gained would be a bonus and give signs of our own new manager bounce

January will bring a new signing or two and there are issues to sort out with players we have out on loan. Las Palmas can’t afford to keep paying Fabio’s wages so we have to hope his improvement in form leads to other clubs wanting him or he’ll be back in Wolverhampton. Nathan Fraser’s loan to Belgium hasn’t worked out so he’ll need a new loan. Chem Campbell has done well at Reading and they want to extend his stay for the rest of the season

I just wonder how many of our more vocal supporters still think our Central Defensive options are "more than adequate", and that Dawson is "excellent"?

posted 4 days, 12 hours ago

Dawson has never been excellent, but in his defence he was, until recently, more than adequate. I think he has suffered from his own injuries, ever changing centre back partners and ebbing confidence.

I still he will have a role to play for us, maybe as backup if Jeff gets his wallet out next month.

Despite our hugely precarious position I still think the result against Leicester will be less important than the performance.

He will only have been in place for a few days but I'm hoping that there will be signs of an improvement in defence and attitude.

You should beat us - honestly we have the worst defence in the league and if we end up with Danny Ward in goal then it’s game over. I’d take the point if I’m honest!

I think you need to look in the goals against column if you think Leicester have the worst defence in the league

Actually, we have the worst defence in the league.

I'm not sure, but if Cunha appeals against the FA charge, he may still be eligible to play on Sunday.

Yeah but we have one of the best Keepers in this division to be fair. Now I know the GK is part of the defence - so to be clear, I think we have the worst back 4 in the league. Our keeper (probably out for Sunday) is the reason we’re not bottom

In his first press conference Pereira said all the encouraging things you’d expect from a new man. But he did say Sa and Sarabia are not fit to play

Think this is a must not lose game honestly. Defeat would leave us cut adrift by at least 6 points, although not much better, still 5 points if we draw.

Yes, I certainly think that goes for both of us.

Wolves have had no further communication about Cunha from the Premier League so at the moment the assumption is that he will be available to play on Sunday

We'll pick up a win this week I'm sure

I reckon to be a PL manager nowadays you'd be lost if, like me, you were rubbish at languages.

Our last matchday squad, in terms of first languages, consisted of: 8 Portugues, 5 English, 4 French, 1 Spanish, 1 Norwegian and 1 Korean.

At leat Pereira has a slight advantage over GON being from Portugal himself, although I imagine all the players have a smattering of English (even Dawson)

History is not on our side either, no victories in the city with one of the strangest accents out there😲???

Er pot kettle black πŸ€”

Ward in goal you'll win !

I know that at Compton they're all made to speak English and English only. I think that's why we recruit from overseas

Wolves really need a win.

They may well get something at the KP flatpack stadium.

There’ll be departures as well as signings in January

Sarabia is wanted by Seville

5 Championship teams are interested in taking Luke Cundle

And a number of European clubs have enquired about Hwang

posted 3 days, 3 hours ago

Don't see Cundle making it for us now so would let all three go.

posted 3 days, 3 hours ago

Evidently several Iberian clubs are enquiring about Guedes.

Four or five teams are interested in Fabio Silva.

And Jose Sa will be moving to the Middle East….. … evidently
