Questions:
Should we be offering Guedes a new contract?
How much can we hope to get for Silva?
Will we need to sign a replacement for Sa?

No, he wants away.
€15m
We already signed a replacement for Sa. It’s a replacement for that flop we need now.
Fosun Out!

Let's assume we will only be spending money we get in - say £20m at most - can't see us buying 2 quality centre backs for that.

Agreed. Unless Fosun sink some serious investment into the first team in January, we can put a pin in it.
Championship beckons.

Forest signed Murillo and Milenkovic for just over £20 million. They have one of the best defences in the league.

I am sure Fosun will realise that spending money in January will be a lot cheaper for them than relegation. I suspect we’ll raise some money through sales but we’ll spend more than that

Guedes has done ok this season but I’d be confident in saying he wouldn’t want to sign a new contract.
I’ve always felt Fabio would keep getting loans until his Wolves contract runs out. Nobody will offer him terns to match what he’s on here. His improved form offers hope that someone will want to buy him but I wouldn’t bank on it.
Pereira has some work to do building bridges with Sa who would likely have left in January if GON was still here
Does anyone on here think it might be worth giving Fabio another chance at Wolves?
I'd love to see him do well here but I'm not sure it will happen.
Fabio would tear it up in the Championship.
With Luke Cundle and Joe Hodge playing him in, he would likely score 25-30 goals. 👍
Fabio has openly said he doesn’t want to be at Wolves and regrets ever coming here. So I think that ship has sailed

The teams are in!
Pereira makes four changes from the side which started Gary O’Neil’s last game in charge last weekend, as Jose Sa, Joao Gomes, Rodrigo Gomes and Goncalo Guedes come into the 11.
Sam Johnstone and Jean-Ricner Bellegarde move to the bench, while Rayan Ait-Nouri is serving his suspension after being sent off in the tunnel last Saturday and Mario Lemina misses out through injury.
Nelson Semedo will wear the armband and lead the team out once again after taking on the captaincy two weeks ago.
Wolves XI | Sa, Semedo, Bueno, Toti, Doherty, Andre, J. Gomes, Guedes, Cunha, R. Gomes, Strand Larsen.
Subs | Johnstone, Lima, Dawson, Meupiyou, Doyle, Cundle, Bellegarde, Forbs, Hwang.

Some offensive intention there, though his choices were clearly limited.

Quite an attacking line up with Cunha, Larsen and Guedes in there.
Good to see Rodrigo get a chance. He looked a star in pre season but GON barely gave him a chance after that
posted 2 days, 22 hours ago
Looks likely to be a 4231 with Guedes, Cunha and Rodrigo playing behind Larsen
posted 2 days, 22 hours ago
Hopefully this means Larsen is less isolated up top and we can get bodies around him

Evidently we are playing 3-4-2-1

Could well be 3-4-2-1.

Of course a big issue will be how the back line plays, now with no Ait Nouri. It might be expecting a lot for Pereira to have sorted that out in a few days.

Does anyone know what Pereira's preferred style of play is? I was a supporter of GON until his position became untenable but, if I'm honest, I was never sure what his preferred style was.
I have always liked Wolves as a counter-attacking side, but with Neto leaving and no obvious attack-minded midfielder I don't think we have the personnel now.

If it's anything to go by, his last club Al Shabab, he played with a back 3, which is why he may go for the same today.

Can't expect miracles today but hopefully we look a little more cohesive.
