LvG out! Jose out! Ole out! Ralf out! ETH out! Amorim out!
Repeat repeat repeat.
To be fair Amorim came in actually looking like an exception. Energetic, charismatic etc etc.
To be fair ETH lasted about 2 or 3 games before he realised his team couldn't play his way either. Now Amorim has learned the same thing after 2 or 3 games.
In the last game or two it seems like he's come to some sort of realisation about how difficult this particular job is. Like suddenly he seems weighed down.
He's talked about storms etc.
The performance today is no different from LvG ball, Jose ball, Ole ball, Ralf ball, ETH ball.
I expect more of the same here in terms of people calling for him to get sacked in the next 6 to 12 months thinking yet another manager will fix things.
This isn't an Amorim out article. This is a why do people think sacking the manager and getting some new manager in will fix things? How many sackings does it take for a certain few to realise it's not the manager, it's the ownership and structure that needs changing as well as the core of the squad?
I don't really know what the answer is, but I know 10000% the answer is not replacing the manager every few years like a good number of people seem to think
The cycle continues

It's a mess at present but I'm certain in a few years we'll be pleased we went through this.
Had we got a bounce and got some really good results short term then it may have kidded some that the players are good enough. I'd honestly not lose any sleep if any of them were sold now. Hopefully we get a few in this January. They may not even be long term solutions but we desperately need proper wing backs IMO. We get into plenty of situations where are players get the ball out wide but we don't seem to do anything with it. Now, it could be because the opposition are happy to allow our wing backs to have the ball there but we really need better.

But even with a bounce, it’s obvious they aren’t good enough.
I don’t think Famorim is helping by insisting on playing a wing back system with this group of players. Not that I think results would be significantly different with a back four, but I just don’t really like going all in on this kind of system anyway, when it’s just clearly not as good as using a back four.

I still think Amorim is the man, but I also question why we sacked Ole when I see some of our football and results since he left. At least with Ole we were very hard to beat, plus we always had a win against the big teams in us too.

I see certain posters calling for patience with this manager when they gave previous managers 12 months.
I wonder if said posters will give Amorim more than 12 months before they start spamming this board like they did previously

But yeah if results continue as they are, definitely sack this one too

It’s more about Ineos being given 24 months or so to sort out addressing more than 15 years of falling behind the rest of Europe’s top clubs in terms of structure, strategy and processes, and how they deal with supporting the head coach through the transition.
There are more important things going on than what we’re seeing on matchdays right now.
