In the spirit of my last thread asking for calm, I want to warm all the fans up to the idea of the upcoming sheetstorm.
Barring a miracle the next 3 games are loses so I ask just accept it now. And that means a very real possibility that United will be sitting in 17th BUT how RA reacts after that will be more of an idea of his ways and if INOES have put the right man in charge.
Back the manager support the team and realise this season is a total write off as painful as it is to digest this information, it will be better for your mental health trust me.
Hope for the best prepare for the worst

I’d be gutted if Amorim doesn’t work out, I can see signs of progression in our general play and he’s the first manager since Jose who has that bit of charisma you need to succeed at a club as big as Utd.
Lots of rumours about the likes of De Jong and Mendes, so hopefully something happens in January to help Ruben’s cause.
The issue isn’t the manager, we know it runs far deeper than that, but we have to finish in a respectable position so results are needed.

We are apparently right on the border line of failing FFP.
So January won't be a big one at all unless we raise a load of money.
I suppose we could try and do loans with future obligations but that's going to eat into the summer budget.
We are in big big trouble I think. I don't see an easy way out of this anymore. Mistakes on top of mistakes on top of even more mistakes eventually has dire consequences. We have now reached that point.
It's Ruben I feel for. He's got the hardest job of any manager post Fergie by far and for me this is now the hardest job in professional football.
We are staring down the barrel of a few years of mid table nothingness now sadly.

I think results will start to pick up once Amorim has more opportunity to work with the players on the training pitch. Since he’s come in he’s barely had much time to do that.

Just hope he doesnt run out of games to experiment with before the alarm bells ring.

Nunes looks like a good replacement for Shaw, on the injury table.

He's not had an injury since 22/23 to be fair from the graphic I've seen. Perhaps that actually was a one off?

He was out for almost a year with a hamstring and came back this year.
Previously to this, he's had muscle injuries and hamstring injuries again.
Looks perfect for us.

I'm fully prepared to back him even if we finish 17th. Sacking yet another manager, especially one who hasn't signed a single player yet, would be the worst decision we could make.
Genuinely think only relegation should cost him his job. The bar is that low.
