We hear of these rumours constantly - Cas to Saudi, Eriksen will go, Antony will go, Rashy will go on loan, we will bring in A, B & C, yet how many actually happen?

Very little of it actually materialises and the squad doesn't really change that much.

I will be shocked if we bring in more than one player (if one) in january, and we may see Rashy go out on loan, but little else.

I think it's more wishful thinking on the fans part, and then social media goes into overdrive with rumours.

I am sure we could start a rumour that we are making a move for salah, get enough momentum behind it on SM and suddenly it would get reported as 'breaking news'......

It's a fair point but there are one or two who have always been reliable. The likes of Fabrizio are not only accurate with potential interest but they always follow it up with updates whether it's progressing or falling through.

I never bother with the rags or M.E.N. as it's usually all cluckbait. And mentioning MUFC always gets the most interest so no surprise we're everywhere!

I think realistically the most we can hope for is buying a a LWB and loaning a striker. But I'm not that hopeful!

We'll also have £25m coming in for Sancho in June off Chelsea.

Though I don't know if that counts towards PSR this year or the next.

If Cas leaves we'll bring in the CM chap from PSG that was under Amorim at Sporting. Perhaps a swap/loan swap with Rashford.
Think we'll defo bring in Osemhin perhaps on loan. He's currently on Loan in Turkey.

I think someone pointed out that Napoli can only recall Osimhen from his loan at Galatasaray if they are selling him, not loaning him out to another club. Not sure if loan with obligation to buy would count.
