Haven't seen him play but it's good that we could possibly have a very youthful team moving forward. Gone will be the well over 30's!!!
Another signs on.............

But with Grayson will he ever get used?

You mean in the same way that Lees, Clayton & White are (not) being used with SG?

Lurker, he has got a point, the 3 you mention have taken a while to get established, White in particular.
I struggle to see where he is going to fit Nunez into the equation right now, especially now that Mika is ahead of him in the pecking order.

All youngsters develop at different speeds. It's just a matter of putting them into the team when the manager feels they are ready.
And if Howson and Mika were both unavailable. We need options in all positions.

The only reason Lees & White got in was because His signings was so bad in the first place so it forced him into using them really. First game none of them was in team.
That's my look on it. They have come him and hold it down well.
Clayton was good from Grayson. But if killa was still here and did average last season would Clayton have got his chance this am not sure.....

Jonty, I agree about them having taken time but all three now appear to be establishing themselves having 'starred' on their most recent loan spells - as indeed did Nunez as well as Somma and Beckford before him.
Agree about where Nunez will fit 'right now' but he will need to be ready once loss of form/injuries/ suspensions kick in as no doubt they will.

Cas, if Mika and Howson were unavailable then Brown would be in the mix.
Lurker, agreed they're now getting their chance and I hope we see more of this finally giving youth a chance, it surely has to be an essential way to building a cost effective team.
Nunez however isn't a youth player, he's been playing internationals for years now as well as playing in the top leagues in the States.
He had his successful loan spell last season, so there are no excuses to him not playing based on experience.
Currently, I only see him as a bit part player moving forwards, I just can't see how Grayson will accomodate him in the first team.

Do you believe that this was not discussed when young Mr Nunez and his representative were in contract negotiations with Mr Grayson and Mr Bates etc?
Surely the fact is Mr Nunez was happy to sign, which makes your view not that important and furthermore (thankfully) it's not your problem.

Nunez will probably be an impact player from the bench. Unless we drop a striker, which atm with McCormack playing so well in a top 2, it won't be this season.
He hasn't done well left mid either. So realistically, he'll be a squad player. I don't think he's good enough to warrant holding down the position behind a striker even if we played that formation. He shoots too often and is wasteful in position. He's a decent player, but I can't see him starting week in week out.

BF...Perhaps SG thinks the same way but you need more than 11 players to compete successfully at this level and a good squad player is very valuable on the training pitch and in the dressing room which was highlighted in the way Bannan walked out and the problems Mancity are having with Tevez and this may be where Brown comes in.
You're so negative Jonty which wouldn't be so bad if you had a clue what you were talking about.
