I know you weren't having a dig Just thought I'd better super clarify it in case the usual suspects jump all over it.

'super clarify' - is that a legal term? As in, 'just to super clarify it your honour, my client did not sleep with his sister's wife/beat up that DJ/shoot that youth player' etc.

I think it could be time to use the Chewbacca argument if we get anymore technical!

Sorry,Mr Chelsea is right (that's a first, me siding with Mr C!); As soon as this claim was made Sky would have been all over their footage of the game, form every conceivable angle, with all forms of 'specialist' lip readers, body language experts etc etc. ALL over it. You know it, there's nothing the press like more than a juicy bit of a 'story' like this.

Right, caught up now.

Its not the first time ''Manchester United player'' and ''lies'' have been mentioned in the same sentence.
Next month Ryan Giggs will have his super-injunction lifted against Imogen Thomas. He got his super-injunction under false pretences. He told the courts he was a ''faithful family man''. However its been recently proved that this was not the case, he was servicing his brothers wife. Therefore, what he said was not true.

Once the super-injunction is lifted, its open season on Giggs, he can be sued for defamation and dragged through the civil courts and he also faces the possibility of being charged with perjury which carries a maximum custodial sentence of 7 years.

Giggs by next year could find himself in prison for telling porkie pies.
