Considering he's refusing to sign a new contract at arsenal there's bound to be speculation about us putting an offer in, but do we really need him? Everyone knows he's a great player but we've got plenty of strikers. Personally I don't think we need him, what do you guys think should we try to sign RVP?

People on here saying no to RVP when he is close to being out of contract are insane.
We will soon be losing Drogba and Anelka and we have FFP rules coming to the fore and you think we should say no to RVP

Re Drogba.........
Like Lampard will come good again and he still offers plenty to our squad, but overall he was poor against Everton, He had no acceleration even after turning defenders in the penalty area and he was constantly out muscled off the ball which is a real worry.
