BillyBoob is a gentle WUM. He's neither provocative nor does he use a thousand like some of us do. Thats why he's not been banned. I have to agree with OP. I find myself having to think carefully what I write on their articles incase of any backlash from them. Shame.

Billy doesn't end every comment in He ends them all in either an exclamation mark or So as to make sure everyone realises he's not annoyed.

However if you end the comment in just a full stop (as is proper English) he like many on here take whatever comment the wrong way and assume the poster is p!ssed off about something, bad times!

Seems like billybob is a hero for many non-united fans. I wonder how they would react if billybob decided to dwell on their board, especially those lovable scousers

He wouldn't be able to dwell, because as Batmanu so accurately put it, most of the Liverpool board do not debate and cannot take any negatively of their club.

Billybob may frustrate our fans with his continuous negative comments about our club, however, he debates his points and backs them up using evidence and logic. Now if he tried this with negative comments against Liverpool, he would be filtered and banned for sure.

all we see on the utd board is anti united comments from all fans - liverpool, chelsea, man city, arsenal.

You are right, he's liked by fans who aren't United fans, but that's a given, we are the most hated team in the country (there has been a survey very recently on this).
Personally I think he's a very good wum, he always raises a decent enough point usually against United that provokes United fans to change the discussion into them VS Billy. He's been doing it for years though, not just on this board, don't know why everyone's only just picking up on him now, maybe what with it being a smaller site than previous.

However yes, if Billy plagued any other board (a board for a team he has no liking for), and ONLY that board (you'll very rarely find him on any other board, because he thinks the United board is the best one, he voted on this), he'd be probably more hated than he is on here, some appreciated his wummery, as it's actually very good!

billybob is successful because he uses some of the obvious flaws at united to wum. If he presents them in a mild manner most united supporters would agree but billybob put them in such a negative way that it makes me cringe.

Worst thing is there is no comeback. If a supporter of Chelsea, Liverpool...etc comment like he do we could have point at a similar flaw in their team and laugh or change the discussion. billybob supports some stupid team that noone know about so only options are to agree or debate in vain.

I wasnt on 606 but here his cover was never blown. come to think of it he certainly sounds like liverpool fan. Liverpool fans ashamed to admit they are Liverpool fans, How the mighty have fallen?

On the BBC 606, i got a little tired bored of having to walk on egg shells when adding too or creating a new thread, knowing one false word or a bit of banter would get ur post taken off or banned and therefor wasn't that bothered when it got binned.

I hope the admins don't - over a period of time - pull the reins too far back and turn this site into a bore bbc 606. I've already had posts pulled that have left me thinking... why? If i get a ban for this, so be it. But personally, i'm not walking on eggs shells anymore. Rather have a ban than to be treated like a child by the mods on bbc.

BillyBob does post some good comments, and he can take it but he has a good knack of twisting things.
