Whether you think he is great or not this mornings league table does not make good reading. We are one of the worst three teams in PL at the moment.

Moses how can you believe he is getting a lot out of the team??? We are rubbish!

Do you really think that other managers will be able to get more out of these players, in my opinion, its not that, its the fact we have some poor players.

You can only make that statement when we are doing well.

The poor players yesterday were coyles. I suppose that's not his fault either. He said he would only sign quality. Our whole midfield was his and it was rubbish.

I do believe other managers could get more out of the team as we are working at about 5% there is a lot more to give.

The problem wasn't the midfield, it was the final ball and the defence after Boyata went off injured.

The problem was midfield they offered nothing be it protection or guile to create

So ..we're all agreed then. All we need is a defensive coach .... and a midfield coach ...plus an attacking coach ...then we've cracked it!

Do you know how sad it is that things are like this. We all want what's best for bwfc. Sadly third bottom with no evidence of real improvement coyle will lose his job if it does not pick up. If it does not pick up then he deserves to. Who comes in no one could say whether it will get better or not but one things for sure you have to try if the current situation is bad. It is bad and no one can really deny that. You can make excuses some legitimate but in the end coyle has eleven players now who are better than third bottom and that means he has not done his job properly or effectively.

Changing managers is always a big gamble ..for any club. I personally didn't want Megson from day 1 - I always felt it was a doomed appointment, and it proved to be so.
But I DID want Owen Coyle ...his Wanderers connection, plus the great job he'd done at Burnley were 2 reasons, and he looked to be a young manager on the up. So I'm a bit gutted ( to say the least) by the way things are at Bolton so far this season. I'm still hoping he has something ..anything .. in the locker, to pull us round. But his usual chirpiness on MOTD, where he somehow finds a positive in a sea of negatives ...well ... this weekend, I got the impression of someone lookin' like a rabbit caught in a car headlights. Oh sure, he was going through the usual positive motions, canny pro that he is ..but I got the distinct impression that he was thinking ' what the FU** do I do now? '
I really hope he finds an answer ...but it will have to be sooner, rather than later. He's been in football long enough to know that ..and there will always be another manager to step into his shoes - doesn't matter that no-one on here can agree a potential successor .. It's not our choice anyway ... but if he doesn't sort it ..one will be appointed - regardless. I know who'd I'd (realistically) go for ..but I'd much prefer it if Owen could turn this situation around, and get us looking like a team ..and to a more safe position in the table.
If this is all part n' parcel of the learning curve he's on ..and he DOES learn from it, and improves as a manager - great. But it's a bit ' russian roulette ' at the minute ..and he knows it ..even if some on here turn a blind eye
