What will Abramovich do now?

Am i the only one scared of the aftermath of the CPO decision? It can lead to Roman selling Chelsea and i woulden't blame him, He has spent a fortune on us and yet fans still doubt his intentions.

He spent 70 mil in jan so we dont finish outside top four ffs.

Anyone else really annoyed?

I'm happy to vote yes to take the club forward, regardless that I've been going to SB since 1956. We're just asking Roman and Bruce to be a bit more professional and realistic, and don't take us all for mugs. I thought today was a very unimpressive start to this whole business, but I'm sure all parties will get their act together and eventually make everybody very happy.

Does anyone else think that "dicking" is somewhat apposite for someone involved with the team that plays in Fulham?

Look mate, nobody minds when you WUM your life away on other posts which re light hearted, but you do look a little silly doing it on here when fans are trying to have a propper discussion.

You are coming across as the little kid making attention seeking noises while the grown ups are talking.

Save it for another day fella

I personally think that Roman Abramovich should be cut some slack and trusted to do what is best for this club. He has proven beyond any reasonable doubt that he is NOT using Chelsea as a cash-cow.

This man has ploughed millions of his own money into our club and taken very little out (unlike most owners) to try to achieve what I believe all of us on here want ie - to make Chelsea the best Club in the world. We are not dealing with asset stripping or a Glazers or David Bulstrode situation here, the man has put large amounts of money where his mouth is (although he don't say much) and I believe that all of us (including normally cynical me!) owe him that leap of faith.

He has unquestionably earn't that right by his actions.

You're wrong about the fans on here from the old days poo-pooing the idea of moving, as you can see from my comments on a thread about this issue over three weeks ago. I have been going for what seems like centuries and are also a current season ticket holder and the fan I was was debating with was also an old school fan and CPO holder and both of us were totally in favour of selling the shares to RA.

What do Fulham's junior club and West Ham have in common?

Correct, they are both small clubs thwarted in their hopes to move to new stadia.

You left out Tottenham, plum. You're even smaller than Chelsea and you also were thwarted in your hopes to move to a new stadia. I bet you must be short-stroking yourself over the hope that you might actually catch us up

In your dreams!!

My one concern - where do we get the 13,000 plus extra fans from to pack the new ground?

Why is that a concern? Besides we probably won't every game but if we are successfull we can grow into it, we can't in our stadium as it is today and there are so many complaints that people cannot get tickets for the big games.

And there's the rub.

Managed correctly, they wont be able to get their hands on any.

If the club spent say the first 2 years of the new stadium with the 13,000 extra seats available at £25 we'd fill it in a flash. Yes, there'd not be a huge return on their investment of a new stadium, but we'd certainly fill it and get a new generation of fans in (did you know the average age of a prem supporter is 40?)

I, for one, can only afford low-grade Carling Cup games at £25. Wanted to watch Genk, but I'm definitely not paying £40 for the privilege!
