Well done to the real Chelsea fans.

For not selling out to Romans buyout. You have the club in it's spiritual home and you want to keep it that way. Your club has gone up in my humble estimation.

Where do you see the club going from here? Do you think Roman will be tempted to withdraw any support?

We do believe in Roman, we do want to move forward with him - but what of the implications if something happens to him? I mean in regard to handing on to an uninterested family who just want to sell everything - remember Mears? Roman and Buck have to be more realistic and professional.

That sounds like a very sensible philosophy. It's a shame all Premiership clubs grounds can't be owned by the fans.

The majority of fans wanted it you fool
The only reason it failed was the voting system but over 60% where in favour so the no voters are holding the majority to ransom.

Have to disagree with you there Aggers. It's all very well being philosophical and conventional in defending the traditional home grounds of clubs, but when it becomes detrimental to the clubs development; which it is clearly doing here; then it has gone to far.
The bottom line is that CFC need a new stadium. We can't redevelop the Bridge after 6 years of trying to find a way to do that, therefore we need to sell the Bridge and build a new stadium. If the fans still don't trust Roman, then they need to get their hands out of the sand and realise all the good he has done for this club. Every decision he has made has been with the clubs best interest at heart.

That's exactly the same situation as we have at Anfield, and it's very difficult to know what is the right thing to do. We seem to be in a form of financial arms race with other clubs, but to place your club in the clutches of foreign owners must be a risk as well.

I guess it's the socialist inside me that is always reluctant to hand over a club from the fans to the corporations. You know where you are if your fans own the ground.

Do not tar Roman with the same brush as Hicks and Gillette who viewed LFC as a business for profit.
RA has proved for 8 years he's here for the long run and he cares about the football.

One question though, where will you go? You're in Fulham at the moment which is fine, its right next to Chelsea, but as far as I know, there isn't any space in those areas for a stadium. I know you looked at Earls Court but that's not goind to happen. So realistically you'll be moving out of the area. Would you be happy with that?
