Bubbles it's no real surprise he's happy

Most non-Chelsea fans would want us to stay at SB
For the same reasons why the majority of us wanted to see the CPOs agree to the club's aim!

Or not???

Agger, would you be happy with Liverpool moving to Stanley Park?

cheers guys, this is a big moment for CFC. That socialist ideal you have is a most noble one. Any selling of the crown jewels has got to be done correctly. Look at the strife we got into selling to Hicks and Gillette. Say what you like about the Moores but they were Liverpool through and through.

Here's an extract from one of my articles about the No CPO vote.

"What is essential is that we don't adopt a "us and them" mentallity. This is what thE media and rival fans would like most, to split us."

Agger we know who you are.

CSTP Personally I would be very sad to see us leave Anfield. In fact I would rather we stayed. The ground is all we are but to redevelop is very difficult because of the housing situation around the site

Don't worry your pretty little head Agger - it will all be sorted. This was just the beginning.

If you would really like to stay at Anfield why don't you buy your own pitch?

But I mean even if you can get a 60k stadium - you wouldn't want that?

Assuming that there aren't any major problems with doing so (hypothetically).

And say it would give you a big boos in terms of meeting FFP needs (if your financial situation wasn't too great)

You would still not want to move?

Truth as we see it

Your extract is all very well, but are you completely confident that Roman has CFC's best interests at heart? The current owners don't seem to be.

posted on 27/10/11

Roman is the current owner. What are you talking about?

posted on 27/10/11

CSTP Well would a new stadium have the spirit of Anfield? probably not. There are very few Liverpool fans that want a move. My article today was sympathetic to your cause. Redevelopment is the priority in my opinion. Lets hope it comes off for both clubs.

Also the concept of the supporters owning the ground is a fine one.

We do believe in Roman, we do want to move forward with him - but what of the implications if something happens to him? I mean in regard to handing on to an uninterested family who just want to sell everything - remember Mears? Roman and Buck have to be more realistic and professional.

Nothing new in this article. Only 61.5%, is that all? No reflection on RA, everybody even the NO voters have said this. We all love RA for what he has done for CFC and what he is about to do for us.

Thanks for your concern about our welfare.

That sounds like a very sensible philosophy. It's a shame all Premiership clubs grounds can't be owned by the fans.

The majority of fans wanted it you fool
The only reason it failed was the voting system but over 60% where in favour so the no voters are holding the majority to ransom.

Have to disagree with you there Aggers. It's all very well being philosophical and conventional in defending the traditional home grounds of clubs, but when it becomes detrimental to the clubs development; which it is clearly doing here; then it has gone to far.
The bottom line is that CFC need a new stadium. We can't redevelop the Bridge after 6 years of trying to find a way to do that, therefore we need to sell the Bridge and build a new stadium. If the fans still don't trust Roman, then they need to get their hands out of the sand and realise all the good he has done for this club. Every decision he has made has been with the clubs best interest at heart.

Andre

That's exactly the same situation as we have at Anfield, and it's very difficult to know what is the right thing to do. We seem to be in a form of financial arms race with other clubs, but to place your club in the clutches of foreign owners must be a risk as well.

I guess it's the socialist inside me that is always reluctant to hand over a club from the fans to the corporations. You know where you are if your fans own the ground.

Do not tar Roman with the same brush as Hicks and Gillette who viewed LFC as a business for profit.
RA has proved for 8 years he's here for the long run and he cares about the football.
