why isnt fergie giving them more playing time? atm the midfield is a disaster, i doubt fergie will buy anyone in january, a least some sub appearances in the PL would be handy, im sure we'll see more of them next season but im worried for our midfield and too impatient!
if morrison and pogba are the future then

this midfield issue is growing out of fans who are not true supporters of the club. This midfield who Won the league and nearly won the CL. You guys have now decided its not good enough having players with the know how.
I see it as a pathetic launch on players who are champion..who give their all for utd.
Also the jealousy hanging out of the Barca lovers and now city fanciers is sad. Utd have their own identity , always have. If you cannot fathom how utd is run as a club then donmt renew your season ticket.

In the first two articles, there is not one qoute from SAF saying Fletcher is a big game player.
Is it worth opening up the third one?

Wrong again.

You do know what a quote is, don't you, as opposed to a headline?

It's even given a paragraph of it's own in the first link:
“Some players are big-game players and he is one."
Proved wrong again.
You have been weighed. You have been measered. And you absolutley, have been found wanting.

I've got to agree with VidicShin here, Fletcher is no longer the player he used to be.
He doesn't get stuck in anymore and the other parts of his game aren't up to scratch.
The problems we've had in midfield are as a result of Fergie tinkering and chopping and changing players for no apparent reason. Reting players 9 games into a season makes no sense. If he was thinking about resting players, Evra should get a rest as he plays way too many games each season.
Ando and Carrick works, Ando and Cleverley works. At the moment, Fletcher doesn't work well with anyone and is actually a liability in the team.
Regarding the OP, City is down the road and will provide all the signings you need to satisfy your impatience.
Cheers

Would Fletcher get into any of the other top 5 teams in the league, very much doubt it, I don't think any of our midfielders would in all honesty.
Truth is Fletcher is just a work horse, good without the ball but pants with it.

So, having read the article again, I will conceed that point to you, altough a quotation mark is missing from the end of said quotation.
Still does not alter my earlier comment that this is SAF trying to big up a player.
Now, as you are so well versed on United, please tell me the last time Fletch had truely great game for United?

Utd dont ditch players who are going through a tough faze. Its not their style. They stick with them like family. They are not disposable toys. The reason fletcher is playing is because he needs playing time , as we will really need him come the turn of the year. Does this make sense to fans.??? Or are you counting the misplaced passes? Fools

Those forcing the points about Fletcher are overlooking the fundamental problem here, we do not have a first choice midfield pairing.
As I've said earlier all the players have their individuals merits but collectively, as midfield unit, they are flawed.

if fergie thinksx theyre not ready, theyre not patience..
in fergie we trust

But there are even younger players who may turn out to be better than those two, why doesn't SAF play them? No doubt there are new-born babes now who will become top stars in the future... why doesn't SAF play them?
As you said yourself, those two are the "Future", which means they are not ready to be consistent and reliable first team regulars at this time.
And as SAF has no equal, never mind any betters, at introducing new players and building and rebuilding teams over years whilst still competing at the very highest level, I think that perhaps you should try to curb your impatience; wondering why it they are not playing more is a legitimate question, let's just be careful that doesn't end up as "he should be" doing this or that.
Be positive; that we have such players is awesome, let's not start whingeing just because they have not yet attained their potential.
