Just been watching East Midlands sport, they said that with regards to Leicester and Hull's fight over compensation, "attitudes are softening" and hopefully Pearson should confirmed as manager by this weekend. Whatever that means??

Less than three hours to wait, then.....

Well, that's more than I heard on R. Leic! No mention at all on the 6pm Sports programme, almost as if they have been avoiding any mention, so I was beginning to wonder if it is still going to happen. Sincerely hope "old fox" is right & thanks for the up-date.

What will be, will be. Some people seem to be worrying themselves to death about this. If by any chance the deal falls apart (and I can't see that happening), there are some other decent candidates.
As regards Radio Leicester, I've stopped listening to the news bulletins, ever since Ben Jackson started poking his nose in. Anyway I get all the news I need on here, and on East Midlands Today.

Its not entirely inconcievable that this could be completed today or sunday. Niether team are playing this weekend after all.

I think it's unbelievable that the club has not informed the fans as to the state of play. A word now and then would be nice just to show they care about the fans. Just hope it gets sorted soon.

Just seen this on Stringer's twitter page:
"Roy Keane re-installed as favourite for LCFC Job- Bets Void IF NP does get appointed ! @StringerSport"
OMG - Not Keane please!!!

Stringer also said it was nailed on that Clark was going tp get the job!
Stringer is a bit of a clown tbh.

I agree, cityfox. I am always struck by how, whenever anything truly significant affecting the club is in train, and under endless discussion in the media and amongst its endlessly loyal fans, the last place any of us would ever go for information or insight is the club itself.
I also agree with Robster - if the Pearson deal falls through there are other pebbles on the beach, and (for me) some of them rather shinier ones. But the delay is very unhelpful.

I completely agree that the silence of the club is frustrating to say the least. All it would take is for Top to issue a statement somewhere along the lines of "we are doing everything in our power to bring Pearson back to this great club and we are sure the deal will be concluded soon".
As for Roy Keane being favouite again, thats just the bookies getting excited because a delay has arisen with the Pearson deal. Nothing to worry about there.
