Billy Kee

I was just browsing the BBC Football site and came across this

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15686164.stm

I always think it's a bit of a shame when our academy boys fail to make the grade with us, but it's the next best thing imo to see them doing well somewhere else. Billy was one of the graduates I had high hopes for, but he seems to have found his level. He's still young so could still develop further, but I'm pleased that he managed to win the football leagues young player of the month for October. Well done Billy!

Billy Kee is a lovely lad, i met and had a word with him several times whilst down at Belvoir drive, I certainly believe Billy will further his career and play at a higher level than he's playing now, he is still very young.

I just copied this (below) from Wikipedia .......

On 17 May 2010, Kee was released by Leicester along with Stephen Clemence, Levi Porter, Robbie Burns, Carl Pentney, Astrit Ajdarevic and Alex Cisak

He also signed a two year deal and played for Torquay until the start of this season, the story i read was he was quite homesick down in Devon and wanted to be nearer his family who live in Leicester and so when the chance came to join Burton Albion he jumped at it.

Best of luck Billy i'm sure we are going to see a lot more from you in the next few years.

"Robbie burns...wernt he a Scottish poet?"

Not to be confused with Robbie Binns, the Nottingham entrepreneur.
