If I remember rightly I think we offered him a deal but he made the choice to leave - or am i getting mixed up with the other guy billy Mckay?
Billy Kee is a lovely lad, i met and had a word with him several times whilst down at Belvoir drive, I certainly believe Billy will further his career and play at a higher level than he's playing now, he is still very young.
I just copied this (below) from Wikipedia .......
On 17 May 2010, Kee was released by Leicester along with Stephen Clemence, Levi Porter, Robbie Burns, Carl Pentney, Astrit Ajdarevic and Alex Cisak
He also signed a two year deal and played for Torquay until the start of this season, the story i read was he was quite homesick down in Devon and wanted to be nearer his family who live in Leicester and so when the chance came to join Burton Albion he jumped at it.
Best of luck Billy i'm sure we are going to see a lot more from you in the next few years.
Billy played in Anstey Crown fc charity event last year, Nice guy...best of luck Billy...prove em wrong M8
Robbie burns...wernt he a Scottish poet?
Shame billy left..think like most of our young lads they are good..but just not good enough for the first team.
"Robbie burns...wernt he a Scottish poet?"
Not to be confused with Robbie Binns, the Nottingham entrepreneur.
