Huddersfield Town V Notts County
Date
Saturday November 19th
Location
Galpharm Stadium Huddersfield
Huddersfield Town welcome Notts Count to the Galpharm stadium for a league 1 top 6 clash. the match has great promise Notts county are pushing to consolidate their top six status and Huddersfield will be hoping to exercise the deamons of the embarrassing exit from the FA cup and to also hold onto an automatic promotion place.
The Terriers will be looking for a solid home performance, there last home game against walsall ended in a disappointing draw in which the Terriers created many chances but lacked a clinical edge, whereas they again conceded a poor goal late in the game that left them with only 1 point from the tie , Lee Clark will undoubtedly stick with the team that has had success in the league an will welcome back key players in Jordan Rhodes who is returning from international duty and Jack Hunt who returns form a 1 match suspension.
Notts County are shaping up to be this years Dark Horse, although almost relegated last year they have been resurgent so far this year and currently find themselves in the last playoff spot with only 6 points separating them and the terriers.
Both teams will want to take maximum points from this game as dropping points at this stage could see either team slide to an undesirable position that would be hard to pull back from and both teams have tricky games in the run up to the new year.

They'll be calling us the 'crazy gang' next ...
Rhodes heading ability is so much better than Lee because he climbs so well. His goal on Saturday was by no means a free header - he just timed his leap perfectly and got well above the defender. If it had been Lee do you really think he'd have scored that? Really? No, of course he wouldn't, they'd have both ended up in a heap with AL's head up the guys shorts and a melee of twisted limbs.

bob it was a great cross and jordan wasnt challenged.. its a good header, exact copy of the pne goal, but again unchallenged..
if we can get more first time crosses in like that both he and lee would score even more.. its not always the quality of the cross that makes the difference its how quick it comes in before the defenders get to mark up..we dont do enough quick uns..
