An easy win for me, a game against another top 6 team, we never have many problems against the better teams.
Town will look as solid as ever in this one and I predict an easy 1-0 victory
2-3 defeat for me, well done mn
as always.. we might win by a couple of goals or we might turn it into a real ball ache...
just hope its not the latter...
if they come to play itll help us a bit, if they come to stifle then lets hope we dont miss the chances as per walsall..
not really sure how we will approach it with it being the 43rd game etc etc etc etc..
Yes am sure if we were in the championship now, it would suit us better because we always seem to do better against teams who play football against us, this lg don't suit our type of play if we were in the championship we would walk it to the prem. I can't wait till next season in the champ.
Loui - You sound like Mickey Collins. "too good for league 1" cough.
swindon played quick, neat stuff against us..mainly on the break but they retained possession and did something with it a good percentage of the time.. therefore they beat us 4-1..
playing football and ball retention means nothing if you dont score, ask the spaniards..
I just hope lee hughes isnt driving the team coach
i do barca, theyll forfeit the game and points for not turning up, easiest 3-0 win ever!!
Barca, If he does, will all the other players send him to Coventry ?
Nice one MN, very tough game as these lot will probably be thereabouts come May. Always quite physical sides under Allen but from what I've seen play pretty good football. Will go for a 1-0 win but as 38 has said we don't want it turning out to be hard work come 80mins onwards.
Mirf, as for your comments regarding newspaper gossip and Rhodes, as I said, utter bullsh@t. These journo's haven't a clue who has escape clauses etc. They make sh@t up, simple.
Statement made by Clark "None of our players have a release clause and the owner has gone on record as saying we won't be selling any of our rising stars in January. The board are as determined as I am to lead the club to promotion and that means keeping hold of our top players.
ohhhhh,my heart says we will sneak a home win...........where my head says if we dont close the doors in defence this will be a big worry,as mn has stated n c are shaping to be the leagues dark horses,i really hope im wrong but i think we could be seeing our unbeaten run ended and charlton pulling further ahead like i said i hope im wrong
was away for the swindon game...what the heck happened ?
Will this knock our fragile confidence, or act as a kick up the ahsole to those lads who think games are going to be too easy ?
This game, against Notts Co, could be a pivotal game for Town, a defeat and then a defeat at Charlton would be 3 on the spin...and doom and gloom would be everywhere...what's needed is a right good 4-0 win, that'll do the trick and put the swindon debacle to bed, we hope.
Hello, anybody out there ?
no wetherby, there isnt..
why is it so quiet...? can't think of owt to say...flat after cup defeat...nervy that we're not as good as everyone has been telling us we are....our luck has finally run out....not confident for tomorrow....my knee is sore...it's cold out...bored !
Considering how old a club Notts County are, it's a bit suprising that this is only their 14th visit to Huddersfield. Town have 8 wins ,3 draws and just 2 defeats from the previous 13 home games with 24 goals and 8 against...so we should be hoping for more of the same this afternoon.
No doubt Notts will bring a 1,000 or so seeing as they are on a bit of a run so it should be a reasonable atmosphere. Let's hope the Town players find their scoring boots after the missed opportunities against Walsall.
Maybe also our defence will be a bit meaner having conceded 6 in the last 2 games, thats not good enough for a team hoping for promotion.
Just seen on the traffic news that there has been a serious accident on M1 junction 26, and as a result the north bound side has been closed until mid afternoon....
That might limit the amount of away support from Notts Co down from 50 to 25.....
lets hope the Notts team bus isn't stuck in traffic too...that would be a hell of an anti-climax if they didn't turn up !
That would be a nighmare if game was cancelled. Shopping with the wife is not a fair alternative
Good win today, important win keeps us well in the leading pack
any opinions on Lee's red, sounded a but harsh but sodje was in a bad way apparently
lads dug in though and saw the game out, shame about the goal at the end the clean sheet would have been nice
Rhodes took his goals well by the sound of it
43 and counting
quiet on here today...no one has any opinions on todays win ?
Everyone is bashing the Wednesdayites atm!
