Being a Leeds fan just isn't enough

In the same way that Ridsdale allowed emotion to get in the way of (any) business sense he had (in his case, probably not a great deal), Grayson is also incapable of taking a dispassionate, ruthless approach to managing Leeds United Football Club.

Being a fan of the club just isn't sufficient qualification. We need a manager who can work within a meagre budget, who can culturally understand Ken Bates, and who can deal with the playing squad without fear or favour.

We need ALAN CURBISHLEY now.

2) Both humble background, working-class cheeky chappies who speak the same language.

Curbishley out! He doesn't understand the fans, the club, the history. Get rid now, before he takes the job, gets you promoted and into the top 6

Beaten by little old barnsley eh....again. Don't quite understand the furies to be honest, after we embarrassed you twice last season as well

Must get back to my horse, cart and 9000 hardy fans

No cup final here mate. Very much business as usual...when was the last time you actually did beat us? Not to worry, I'm sure you'll be 'expecting to beat the likes of barnsley' again, when you come to oakwell

Curbishley out!

Meme - MON wouldn't come to Leeds (wouldn't work for Bates). Hence Alan Curbishley is the right choice.

What are fans expecting that's the main question this
morning, not how the team performed!
There are only 4 teams above us with better records
at the moment...hello! did anyone expect anything else
above that...realistically? So how do the rest of the
divisions fans feel this morning below us?!They must
be feeling pretty terrible?!

The proper context in this division is that more or less
the teams are much of a muchness...apart from
Southampton I dont feel any team has shown
outstanding form and consistency.
Leeds are as unpredictable as any and just as likely
to go on a run of undefeated games after defeat
yesterday.
The fact is they're still 5th and as long as they stay in
the top 6 they are only a few successful games away
from promotion....were you expecting anything else??!!

Oh hello, what do we have here in Antonio...someone with their head out of the clouds and on planet earth. You're absolutely spot on, of course. Sadly, many of your comrades remain firmly rooted in 2001

"Sadly, many of your comrades remain firmly footed
rooted in 2001"

It's worse even than that...some are still rooted in the
1917 October Revolution, comrade! ;(
