Hull:
- Just lost both of their last two games after being ahead in each.
- See their ex-manager, who walked out on them recently, return.
- Have two first team players who regard(ed) him as a mentor who have been deserted by him twice.
- Will almost certainly have to put up with chants of "Pearson thinks you're s..."
- Will need no further motivation as a result of all the above.
Pearson:
- Might feel a little guilty about the whole situation, despite remaining stoic in public.
- Doesn't like being the centre of attention at the best of times.
Try to persuade me otherwise, but I'm finding it hard to see past a Hull victory on Saturday...
Vengeance is theirs...?

I think this is a game neither side wants to lose but dare not say they'll win

TIM, that sounds like the storyboard of The Gruffalo to me...
Cantle, I'm already scared to death that you're driving so I'll be as negative as I want.

I shall just pop across the Humber for this one. From what I have seen of Hull lately, albeit it only highlights, I can't see City losing this game. £24 for the ticket.

That should be 'Leicester City'.

Don't forget £2.70 for the toll at the bridge. Worth it for a trip across this splendid construction (although you might not feel the same on the way back). An old Japanese proverb says: It is better to travel hopefully than to arrive.
In this case though, a 1-1 draw looks favourite.
