"Try to persuade me otherwise"
We have better players and a better manager?
1-1 I reckon
I guess you could argue that Hull's motivation and adrenaline levels will be much more emotionally influenced and charged.
I would imagine this will affect their professionalism to a certain extent. Perhaps surge forward a little too hastily or lunge in to a tackle, etc. With our ability to counter-attack effectively and play the ball around nicely, this may play in to our hands.
Im woth you Dunge Im afraid. Can see them winning with a chant of "Pearson, whats the score?" ringing around the stadium.
Holy Moly, what a scenario. We have Hobbs and Fryatt versus Dyer, Kingy and the other old boys- what will happen? A very hard match to predict with all the various factors involved. Nigel can't hide away, he will be out on the touchline as usual. He will find things difficult as to some extent he has renaged on his own principles of loyalty.
I will sit on the fence and go for a draw, probably 1-1.
Hull win dung and not 22 players at full time either me is minded to say.
I take it Waghorn wont be allowed to play for them?
Brady got a red card the other night so he wont be allowed to play either.
Will they be short of attacking options?
Pretty sure Waghorn isn't back from his injury yet.
Assume they will play McLean and Fryatt.
Tempted to have a quid on Beckford hat-trick at 40odd- 1!
I'll have none of that negativity in my car on the way Dunge.

There is an old Chinese proverb which says "a fox borrows the tiger's might."
In the tale a fox caught by a tiger struck an idea of survival. She led the tiger to parade among the other animals, who of course scampered for life as they saw the tiger coming. The fox, however, made the tiger believe that the animals feared her instead. As a result, the tiger let the fox go. The proverb says a weaker soul borrowing a bigger one's might to accomplish something he can't do otherwise.
I have absolutely no doubt that our Nige will be regaling the players with this very tale just before kick-off. Victory is all but guaranteed, so sit back and relax.
Interesting chinese proverb that.
They're all a load of garbage.
Also, TIM are you saying that Hull are bigger than us, and have a stronger soul?
I think this is a game neither side wants to lose but dare not say they'll win
Hull fans are predicting a Leicester win on Not 606
Danger Nail on the head time! Cantab can you pop by Jeddah and give me a lift too please?
TIM, that sounds like the storyboard of The Gruffalo to me...
Cantle, I'm already scared to death that you're driving so I'll be as negative as I want.
Nice use of italics in the post Dungeon.
Oh, and I'm also fairly pessimistic about Saturday but hopefully I'm wrong!!!

Thank you Merseyside. It always agrieves me that I can't use them in comments.
Nev: this one is such a tight call, I think we need you to pop across to Mecca for us.
I shall just pop across the Humber for this one. From what I have seen of Hull lately, albeit it only highlights, I can't see City losing this game. £24 for the ticket.
That should be 'Leicester City'.
A Tale of Two Cities.

Don't forget £2.70 for the toll at the bridge. Worth it for a trip across this splendid construction (although you might not feel the same on the way back). An old Japanese proverb says: It is better to travel hopefully than to arrive.
In this case though, a 1-1 draw looks favourite.
I am VERY optimistic about Saturday. I beleive we will win, and may be a little tasty outside afterwards!
