My views on some of the players

In my opinion Morrison is already better than any of the central midfielders at the club, love seeing the neat little flicks which actually come off unlike Giggs.' Thought he played rather well yesterday, just behind Smalling as our best player. It is obvious this lad is supremely talented and I hope to see more of him in the first team in the near future because quite frankly our central midfield is poor.

Furthermore what does Fergie see in Jonny Evans?? Once again makes another major mistake, he seems to make one or two big mistakes every game he plays! Does Fergie not see this? Diouf will never make it at the club so I really don't see the logic of him starting, he wasn't exactly impressive at Blackburn was he? Now I know some of you believe Macheda is only young and has time to develop, but what is there to develop in this kid? He offers nothing! Doesn't create space and first touch is awful he seems to be living off the goal against Villa. I don't understand what it is with the Da Silva's but they are two of the weakest footballers I have seen! I don't think I've ever seen them complete the full 90mins.

Now on to the positives I thought Smalling was fantastic and was our best player last night, it is clear he is a CD and not a RB he should not be playing RB, people have been hyping up Jones soo much this season that they have seemed to have forgotten Smalling, this lad is just as good as Jones. Ravel Morrison as I have stated is already better than any of the central midfielders we have and hopefully he will get more game time in the near future. I was also impressed by Zeki Fryers, think we should give him a few more games see how he copes but he can make that position his own considering Fabio is always going off injured and Evra getting older.

All in all disappointed by the result but it happens, we will just have to move on, although I do have to say our fans were poor throughout the game and didn't get the chants going at all, is it like this every game? It sure seems it when I am watching on T.V we just don't seem loud enough, didn't Fergie say this a few years back? Credit to the Palace fans stood and sang throughout the game, they were fantastic.

Yes i do , that's why i said he is not really United first team standard. He played better than ok yesterday. I would sell him though. I am just saying he has not played much football and its not easy to slot straight in. We have had world cup winner that have struggled,Kleberson.
When Keane came back from injuries his first few games were always very average until he hit the groove and was match fit. There are not many players that can play effortlessly well after not featuring very much. I am just defending him for once that's all.
In my world SAF would go and buy 2 quality CM midfielders!!!!

So Gibson played OK against....yes thats right Crystal Palace...big whoop. He's Crystal Palace standered anyway.

You can only play against what's in front of you, and he's one of the few that did

When i saw that Evans was starting i knew we had a 'slim' (wafer thin!) chance of some kind of result. I don't rate him at all and definately not at your club.

That aside, a huge result for us but a minor blip in your case. You've got much bigger fish to fry and i wish you well.
All the best for the rest of the season

I can guarantee you SAF will have his scouts watching Zaha for the next month or so, just to make sure last night was not a one off.

Zaha decent in the first northing in the second then nothing again till the second half of injury time , the commentators wouldn't shut up about him , it's amazing how much there opinion effects

Last night wasn't a one off 'Vidic' bud.

Zaha (Wilf) has come on bundles this season. I've my doubts he'd ever be a regular first-teamer at a club as big as Utd but saying that, training with top class players everyday can only improve him. Time will tell i guess.
Victor Moses was our last 'world beater' (i won't mention John Bostock!) according to some and he's now at Wigan, albeit doing well, but no worldbeater.
Our Academy is very good. A recent result was Chelsea 0-4 Palace. We've a few more Zahas waiting to come through. It's just a shame that we generally have to sell.
Oh well. Maybe some day we'll cement our place in the Prem
