Does anyone still eat them?
I've had a real hankering for one for the past couple of days and even thought about buying a Breville. Then I thought nah, I'll use it for a week then it'll sit in the cupboard along with the bread maker and the smoothie maker.
Still fancy one though. Nothing like biting into two sealed slices of toast with cheese the consistency of molten lead in the centre.

I suspect the chilli sauce would mask the subtle flavour of the snail.
I'm not averse to something hot and spicy though. Perhaps a toastie with thinly sliced ham, mozzarela and a sprinkling of finely chopped Scotch bonnet chillis?

Can't do it at work but I've seen some of the videos on Youtube of people eating Dorset Naga chillis. Absolutely insane
I'm a bit of a chilli fiend myself but Scotch bonnet is as hot as I go.

I've got a bottle of Dave's Ghost Pepper(Naga)sauce. Even 1 tiny drop is mental hot.

Ghost chillis are common place. His guts must be like a war zone!
