Luis Suarez & Wayne Rooney

Both high class strikers, the linchpin of their team and usually involved in all things good.

Wayne Rooney has amassed 9 goals this season as Manchester United got off to a flying start, scoring for fun. This included back to back hattricks.

Louis Suarez has only managed 4 goals this season but you can see that his presence on the pitch for Liverpool is critical and he is usally at the centre of all LFCs attacking moves.

Both quality, however Rooney has not scored since 18 Spetember 2011, a run of 8 appearance, totalling 697 minutes.

Suarez has failed to score in the last 7 games, a drought lasting 568 minutes on the pitch and stretching back to 1st October 2011.

SO.....who will be the first to end their drought, and what is the cause of these dry spells? Is it down to them, the tactics or their team mates.

Good news, I was certain it would be swept under the carpet. I imagine he will get a 2 game ban like Rooney did.

Rooney got a 2-game ban for the same gesture?
I'm surprised tat that: Beckham made exactly the same gesture when playing for England, and didn't get any ban at all.
