Whoever I sub from my fantasy football team first
Suarez is just not a regular scorer at a higher level than holland. Good player mind.
Rooney is by and large a 17 - 23 goal season a year player, he always has dry spells and good spells but he has the ability to contribute in other ways when not scoring.
Well another similarity is that they both have made either verbal or non-verbal obscenities towards the crowd.
Rooney received a three match ban, Suarez will receive...?
Goal-wise, I need it to be Rooney, he's not pulling his weight in my FF team recently! A nice hat-trick v Wolves will do me fine!
Oh, and Demba Ba - get your shooting boots on as well!
Well Suarez has a better strike rate internationally which is a level higher than holland isn't it? It's a better goalscoring record than Rooney's also. Probably both their dry spells at the weekend against weaker opposition at home.

Not sure where you get your facts from, but I would go somewhere else for them.
Rooney has scored 12 goals and last scored on the 2nd of November.
I imagine you have Suarez stats wrong as well.
hes talking about just the league

didnt that go down as an own goal
Hippo - Really? So players like Messi, Ronaldo and Rooney who struggle at international level, would equally struggle in Holland?
Indeed just the league, to keep the comparison fair......cannot gaurantee the quality of the opposition in the cups
Rooney seems to let things get to him, when there is controversy in his life it affects his game - he has looked out of sorts since he got sent off for England and the subsequent ban, I expect him to improve if the ban gets reduced
Rooney's hair is weighing him down thin its time for a trim

Sándor Kocsis has scored 75 goals for Hungary in 68 at 1.10 goals per game......
Quick King Kenny, get the cheque book warmed up, I feel a £35m bid coming on

Quick Harry, get the cheque book out. If you hide the taxes and get your 'finders fee' you'll make a fortune...
Hippo you're mixing it up though. We're not talking about if Ajax were an international team, or at least I wasn't. I'm talking about the Dutch league as a whole. More difficult to score bucketloads internationally than in the Dutch league I imagine.

That was in the olden days when international teams weren't as good.

But Rooney is meant to be the white Pele..
Great come back ...
As good as yours?
Ah, so Kenny's propensity for overpaying for over-rated footballers is fair game, but Harry's financial dabblings not. Cheers for clearing that up, Devonshire...
err, no internationally he will be playing loads of south wamerican teams. only three of those teams would stay up in the dutch league

Don't be ridiculous. They are not as bad as you think. Doesn't the 2010 WC count for anything either?

I fully expect Rooney to end his goal drought tonight. Utd need a result and Rooney usually comes up trumps in these situations. He was pulling all the strings against Villa last week but tonight is different we need to score and I am sure SAF will have Rooney lead the line rather than drop deep. Rooney is technically a far more gifted player than Suarez and has a much better footballing brain. Don't get me wrong Suarez is a cracking player and I am sure he will score soon.
